Update here SupaM

Thanks for the update Cru3l. Looks like you have things well on the way.
Since I know jack about LED's, I had a question about your temps... I believe
you said they are running around 85...
Is it from the lights, the proximity of them, or do you normally run your temps in that range? Trying to get some inside info on the lights themselves, i guess... Suscribed for sure!

Tempurature was 85F, living in Hawaii that's normal temps without adding AC. I leave my porch screen door open to get fresh air in.

80-85F is acceptable only if you have constant circulation to prevent heat pockets. The squirrel fan on top does an awesome job.

Hey Supa,

I am totally new here and yours will be my first contact on this forum. I came here in search of the feel of the forum about LED's. I have been following the tech for close to 10 years now, but only in the last 3-4 years have they become a feasable option. The main advantages are the power savings and the fact that they don't produce heat. You can drop an LED system directly on top of your plants with now worry of burning them. LED's also end up having a light spectum for diverse for your plants. Usually this means that the plant will absorb like 20-30% more light, thus less lumens needed. The problems of the past were the old systems were using 1 watt LED's which didn't have the penetration power to get through a canopy. The new LED's range from 3-6 watt's typically. I prefer the 3 watt because they have the penetration needed, plus their low power useage means you have more LED's covering a larger footprint. If you have any interest in these products, please check out www.growgoddess.com. These are some of the coolest LED systems I have seen. If you or anyone you know decides to try out one of the grow goddess systems, they can enter the following Sales Promotion Code to receive a 10% Discount.

Anyway, I will be starting a post about them in the near future, so if interested, we will have video and pics. Thanks.
