Cultivation of 50lbs or less explained?

In my state cultivation of 50lbs or less is 2 years in jail with possible probation and 5000 dollar fine. I currently only have one plant. Prob 3 oz every 2 months. So if I'm taking this risk for only one plant should I just do another. I have space for 2 plants so I'm just curious I might as well if I'm going to be labeled with that misdemeanor anyways right?

I can imagine that 50 lbs. is just the maximum sentence you can receive, So if you had one plant the judge might be a little more lenient with you. Depends if the judge is a dick and wants you out for 2 years or if he will only nab you for a little. Its all about appearance so you could try two and look worse in front of a judge who might be less lenient to someone who had one plant as opposed to two.
