Typical though aint it. I bring it down a few degrees then outside gets a few degrees higher. Fucking can't win for shit - c'mon mother nature wtf!!

I found some bud rot on two cola's t'other day. Luckily I ripped the rot out and it seems to not be spreading. Just eager to pull the thing out already! lol Super hot temps and little humidity, means my girls are drinking a lot and not growing as they should! But it does still seem to be as phat as it could be
I think I was secretly hoping the bud rot would spread - that would have meant pulling it out early hehe

I took a lil branch off a few nights ago, one of the lower small ones. Dried to 1g quickly in my window. It wasn't ready...
Can't actually believe I smoked 1g of weed in a night without getting a single buzz, and woke up feeling like I smoked half oz of tobac lol *cough cough*
Cheese. Is looking fantabulous! Best of the bunch for sure. Looking at it now with only two weeks on the clock, I'm wishing I didn't cut the rest of her off at the start of flowering she would've been a beaut!
Caramelo is still growing, and is green so I can't complain. Being super hot is not helping it though, it's averaging I think at 37C - too damn hot! But canny do anything about it....
Babies are all dead and am not planning to germ any more until after my Son has gone back to his Mum in a few weeks... So if Caramelo doesn't make it through the next few weeks then I'll not have a next cycle
But I think it will as it's taken all sorts of hardship so far and still stronger than ever!

LMAO I can completely relate about hoping there was more rot so you could pull the girl early. I have to worry about myself more than bugs / rot / deficiencies once the plants start flowering lol. I feel like godzilla...everyone is at my mercy!!!
You are tempting me to plant a cheese! I have an auto and a reg...both from Dinafem.
It really sucks about your temps
. I lucked out and am with someone who doesn't mind my grow being in the living room lol. Winter time will be much friendlier to you!

Today I'm seeing 27C's again
Had a closer inspection of BZ through the scope and it's barely even cloudy... ! So I guess she's not comin out just yet.... hpmf
I did take a lil sample though, 2 of the smallest branches, which is drying out. Wet it's 10g's so dry it's gonna be about 3g. It's some chunky shit for an eighth and I'd be well happy if I'd spent £25 for it bag appeal I guess will be good.
Wet smoke, not good. But seeing as the mom isn't even ready I don't doubt this sample may be a waste, but I guess we'll see. Last wet smoke I had was shite, but after a few days drying and then curing, kinda turned that thing around 180 and kicked my ass lol

Good deal on the temp; I'm glad you're getting it under control. I tweaked my fan speed controller a bit and managed to drop my temp from 81F to 77F and am pleased with it. I checked my newly transplanted babies this morning (I'm such a weirdo - I actually woke up in the middle of the night worried about them lol) and found that their fan leaves are looking a bit droopy. I'm thinking the coir was a bit too damp when I transplanted. I'm gonna let them dry out a bit and hope they perk up.
Let us know how well the BZ smokes!

Temps are back into the late 20's again today, so that's great!
My BZ sample, I got nothing from at all dried to about 3g's which is what I expected from 10g wet.
The fantastic thing about it, is that it stinks hard like that's it's full time job lol and this 3g chunk here is pretty massive so bag appeal straight off the cards
It smells, tastes, and feels just like Bug Bud. For which I'm disappointed about. I grew a few Big Bud tasters a few cycles ago, grew nice, but a shit buzz - not high grade, more a medium grade weed.
If BZ doesn't get a lot stronger between now and finish then I can't sell it on as high grade... because of it's similarity to big bud, it's strength is to be the deciding factor on street value not good at all cos right now, a few days from due finish, it has zero strength (that I can tell of)...
Surely any strain, at near due finish, would blow your mind on the first smoke test? At least it's been that way so far...

i thought about it .... i'll probably take loads of pictures and post them all into a really short build thread, mostly pictures and discriptions ..... i'm gonna get my base down this week i promise... already used all my budgeted time i added on for stoned faffing!
base and electric is my only setbacks so far ...everything else is ready mate... oh and i'm giving the other half plenty of flowers and candle lit bath's at the moment, so she can't kick off about the amount of attention i'm about to divert to "the hobbie" LOL

Oh! on another note i errected my grow tent last night mate.... although when i bought it (over a year ago) i picked the kit with the 1.2m wide x 2.m high secret jardin .... it seems that they sent me one which is 1.8m tall, so all the worrying about not having the headroom and thinking i'd have to cut the frame down to fit it in was all for nothing.... thankfully. so i'm well happy that i can use it after all, i would however like to point out (Charlies Hydro ...off Ebay) not only sent me the wrong size tent to which i ordered, but also sent me the cheaper DS model... (not the DRS that i paid for) little bit unhappy about that as the cheaper one has less ducting inputs than the DRS tent, but thats nothing i cant solve with a trimming knife and tape, and after leaving the tent boxed and un opened for over a year to gather dust i won't be having a moan at them... even though i think they should be publicly flogged.
i should have taken a pic but it kinda took all the floorspace in my kitchen just to stand it up lol .... but i will say i'm impressed with the build quality of the secret jardin tents it is nice and tough... looks well easy to clean and stuff and once built into a Cellotex cabinet i will be happy as larry!

I pulled one of my BZ cola's two nights ago. It would have seemed that the bud rot was actually spreading inside the cola. I don't think too much damage was done and the other cola's appear not to be effected at all. I'm so eager to just get it out of there already.
Due date is 1st Aug so should be more than ready.
My picture, seemed to be too damn weak to be ready.
Question to all;
Should I wait to sample this cola before deciding to harvest? It's still not quite dry enough...
Or should I include into the equation the bud rot potential for all the cola insides that I can't see, and just harvest it now?

That's a tough call. I would probably sample first but I'm not exactly experienced with these things. I just hope that it hasn't spread and the rest of your crop is fine.

Just done sampling it and it's a bit rubbish... the scope shows a little more amber but it's still like 85-90% clear and no cloudy at all, not even one.
The bud rot, I believe to be under control, but I'm just not sure how much I'm willing to risk it...
Pistils all haven't sunk down yet, but most have, which is normally a tell. I've seen no shrouding of crystals either, which I would normally see on other strains. Fruit Punch gets completely plastered with them and they change colour accordingly which you can tell by just looking, no scope even needed lol
I'm just not sure what to make of it. Tempted to just go and cut it just to be done with the worry lol

Another edit: Weight of cola apprx 1 quarter happy daze! So BZ is carrying roughly 2.5/3 ounces.
They're actually hanging down sideways with the weight! I know the website said to expect it and to prop them up at 4 weeks, but I didn't think they meant it! LoL
She smells fruity too
I decided to wait till the weekend-ish before harvest. Or until this quarter runs out lol which ever comes first!
