oh ok, you can keep in in the cup.. they do a solo cup grow thread on here, ill find you a link in a second.. just don't veg it for too long in the cup.. maybe a couple of weeks or so, then go to 12 / 12 to flower it, otherwise it'll get way too big for the cup..
what kind of lights do you have now?

if you can afford some solo cups then you can afford a 3 gallon pot they are like 1.50 at my hydro store. go get you a pot and some CFLS.

you're not going for yield so they will do you just fine and if you ScROG your plant you CAN get a lot.

look up and do some research. Yes plants will grow with dirt water and light, but its gonna be some shitty shit. you're going for quality so get you a good strain and some good nutes. (flora duo series is cheap).

you'll be glad you looked into it

can anyone help me??? with ^
yeah, first ditch the regular light bulb, and get a cfl.. for veg, you want one around 6500 k, it'll say it right on the box..
as far as soil, pretty much anything that they sell at a home depot / lowes type store will work fine..
