curing problem?

hey riu, i started curing my first crop yesterday and all the stems were cracking but not breaking and today after work i just checked them and all the stems are back to just bending like when they were fresh picked... is this a problem or is it normal for the first little bit?

once you put them in the jar, the moisture from inside the buds will start to work its way out, so yes it is normal, if its really wet lay it out on some paper for about a half then re-jar. And burp the jars a few times a day.

Either way,,,no biggie.

just make sure you don't jar em too early.

I like 5-6 dry in a dark closet. no fans, cool temps

Then into a paper bag for another 2-3..----I really like this step bc it will even out the moisture in the buds a bit

By now they'll be almost snapping and be a nice even "almost" dry

From there you can either jar them or throw em in a carboard box for a few hours and check back if they seemed a little damp
