curing question vacum seal?

just wondering if its ok to use vacume seal canisters when curing? or is it bad?

typical newbie question

i have mason jars but was just wonderin.

I use the blue canning jars and I got this little pump that lets me suck the air out, so I use it all the time. It works great during the curing stage, storage no matter it just works. Plus I have to open them so I can get a fresh smell of the stasharoo

This is what I use and it's resealable and comes with 1000 tabs and they each go for several times so it's worth the little bit of cash sealer

I see they have a 10 year warranty now, I have one of those and it quit working in a matter of months. All I need to do is replace the O-ring on the piston and it would probably work again though.

Mine's been going for quite awhile now. Thats good to know tho
I bought mine like ten years ago, maybe they upgraded the o-ring quality to offer that warranty now, Gawd I loved that thing. A hell of a lot cheaper than those bag-n-seal machines.
