Curious...Watering

Am just curious to hear from more experienced Growers on best time to water plants and if it really matters?
1# At the start or couple hours after the lights come on for the day?
2#An hour or 2 before lights go off for the night?

you dont really want to be watering before plants go into dark. they should have a good.few hours before lights turn off. not too sure about coco I personally dont use it.

Thanks for the advice,I used coco the last time and honestly I wasn't that impressed with it for the price you pay over here (NZ) $35/$40 for 25 litre bag
Using ph'd soil this time with additives ofcourse,Am at end of wk1 flowering ah rhino strain heaps more advanced n lush green than same stage with coco.
Question...Have read ah bit on the net saying...As flowering progresses to increase the amount you water them.
Wondering if u'ld have any idea on at what stages they are referring to?
I'm in 30ltr planter bags
Week 1 after stretch period
Watering 1250ml every 2 days at the moment?Any ideas on what ya think would help?Took some time and monster cropped these 1's...
Have only topped them once in mid February...Shit blew me away on the way it effected the plant as ah whole.
Well worth it.

I'll leave this to the coco experts but...
I don't understand people using cloth pots with coco?
I thought the benefit of coco was fast growth like hydro?
I was under the belief that the growth was due to feeding twice a day and draining , like hydro
It seems to me those cloth pots always stay wet and fail in runoff?

To put coco as a medium and then just water once a day , is a waste of coco IMO

They drain surprisingly well.

From what I’ve read about coco it’s mostly constantly replacing what the plant drinks so it doesn’t dry out much.

I’ve just started a plant in coir two weeks ago and it’s huge compared to the ones in soil.

If you weren't impressed with coco over soil then you weren't using it right.

I only use cloth pots with coco. Always feed to significant runoff, it all comes right out the bottom. I've only hand fed, so some plants I've done multifeeds and some only daily. As long as the coco stays moist you're ok.

My last plants were in 1 gallon pots, only fed once daily in flower since that's all I had time for. Each morning the pots were almost bone dry. Definitely not ideal at all but you have to work with what you have.

Idk about a best time but from monitoring run off in my own grow I can tell you it's nothing surprising.
They use very little during the night when the lights turn on the amount increases to x amount per hour until light out.
