Curling leaves like a V

maybe its the wrong term but some of my leaves on my ladies are curling up like a V. the plant looks super healthy and green but some of the leaves are curling like a V. Could this be because the light may be too close? a PH deficiency or something else? Any advice? I know i have no pics but the best way to describe it it looks like a V.

this happened to my plants but they curled down? I could be wrong on it wasn't from heat stress. Anyone know why they would curl down instead of up?

Need more info, pics if you got em. Nobody can tell you what that is and honestly say they're positive its correct.

really. I very well could of been over watering them. I'm currently growing new plants from a better strain. I do try and keep minimum.. This is my second grow. I think I'm starting to get a hang of things.

This is what happened to my plant recently which is in my journal, but I wait for my soil to be dry then I water. But people said its fine what do you think? Although in the pic only the lower leaves are curling downwards the new growth is also curling I can post pics if needed.

Your plants are telling you they are to hot, people put fans onto their plants, i have a few fans small ones at that, and i dont blow direct onto the plants i prefer the air to hit a wall etc then they get the breeze from that, thats enough for them, if you blow a fan direct onto your plants yes it will faten up on the branches, but you want the plant to focus its energy to its bud not the branches, i also have a small fan blowing accross my lights to just take off the heat from the bulbs, you can get those little pc fans they are perfect because you can clip them anywhere you want, hope this is of some help for you, remember you dont want fat branches you want fat bud. best of luck.

I use the same method as you, pointing the fan at a wall so the air circulates around the plant though the stems seems a little weak so maybe I should direct it at the plant until it stiffens up.
About the pc fans, how do you power them? Do you just use a battery holder & attach it to the fan wires?

yes you can even google pc fans, tis easy, meant to say if you have to prop up your plants then thats cool, i still have to do this time to time, i use straws when am in mcdonalds i take hundreds of them, cut to size, then cut right up it so you can open it wrap it around the stem with great care (gentle hannds needed) it will then close around the stem giving it the support it needs, it will soon grow out it trust me, i leave mine on because after a few days it will burst out it, again even i have cut small plants in 2 so be carefull with the wrap round ok, sometimes i even take another small piece along the length of the straw so its not all totaly wraped around it but just the top holding it up, but this works real well for the little time its needed, chill and mind they are weeds.

The link below takes you to a picture of what my plant leaves are doing. I have no way of posting my actual pics since I dont' have a camera. But the link is what my leaves are doing. You say its heat stress and it very well could be. I have a 600W HPS in a cooltube and it was probably 10 inches away at most.. Maybe even more like 7. I moved the light away further so maybe that's what it is. Thanks for the reply..

NO NO NO If the plants look healthy and they are not burning and the leave are in a 'v' it is called "praying" and thsi is a good sign!!!

Probrably mean ur temp is good between 76 and 80 ?? probably means ur room has low humidity. my room run 76 degrees with humidity between 40-50 closer to 40 the better, 35 would be dyaminte!!!! my plants pray when light is on and droop a little when light is out.

no but dont go any lower. i also mist them with RO water. Some people say no becuz they are afraid of the mist settling in a shady spot and start groowing mold. but with low humidity the mist is sucked up by the leaves and the plant drys quickly.

dont mist right before lights go off

no dont go any lower Maybe consider misting plants with RO water.

Some say no to misting but with low humidity the mist is quickly absorbed by leaves and the low humidity quickly drys the plant, eliminate the chance of mold . When u have high humidity the air contains more water. So whehn u mist the plant the water dropplets can settle in a moist shady area and mold will qiucky take over.

Also with high humidity it causes the upper inch or two of ur soil to dry out quickly ,
reducing the chance of bugs and crap growing in ur soil.

I don't think they are praying like you say they are. It doesn't look like this is a good thing that is going on. I know the praying you are talking about and this looks like it is not it. In the link above is exactly what is going on. You are right about the temps and humidity but I don't think it is the praying you say it is. My temps are 75-80, colder at night with lights on. The humidty doesn't go past 30%.
