Curling plants need help!

Most of my plants are curling. It started 2 days ago while allowing the soil to dry (not completely but close to fully dry) so I assumed that it was due to under watering which I normally fix within 6-24hrs after a healthy watering. However it’s been 36 hours roughly and there has been no improvement in fact They are getting worse. There is some discoloration on the leaves which you will see in the pictures. And a very few leaves have a couple spots on them as I took a picture of the leaf that I took off. I am just trying to resolve this issue as fast as possible. I am 1 month into veg and was about to transplant into 7s and flip. Please help me out

Grow media : 50% Promix BX 50% Coco Coir

Pot size : 4 gallon pots

Plant age: 4 weeks into veg

Nutrients : botanica veg as directed + liquid karma + AN budy candy/rhino skin/tarantula/piranha/sensizym/voodoo + cal mag because I have dealt with a cal/mag issue since week 1. PPM = 1100. Watering with 7.0. Runoff is 5.9

Room temp : 74F

Room Humidity : 60%

Lighting: 4 QB 96 elite LEDs @ 720w over a 4x4 footprint

First 3 pics are LEDs on. The rest are lights off

Thanks in advance for any help and advice you may have for me and my girls.

Wild guess ...you think adding all those products might have over fertilized them and made a lockout appear to be a deficiency ?
That is my first impression ,taco leaves wilting...

It could be. However I have been feeding them the. Same for 4 weeks. The only thing I upped in the last 2 watering was calmag. If you think it’s a lockout what would you suggest ? A simple flush ???

Oh and btw. All of the AN products are going at half strength only. Calmag I doubled on. Everything else as directed

I wouldn't flush but I would use just water the next couple times
Do you water by the weight of the pot because feeling the soil is not a good method?

DubJ..
What's your pH?
Can cause lockout..generally gunning for around pH 6.0..Calcium uptake more efficient around 6.2...That said, most nutrient more readily absorbed around 6 give or take.

If you are putting in 7 and getting out 6 that means that your pH is lower between cycles. I would throw in some hydro guard with your next watering.

Too much cal blocking Mag. Interveinal chlorosis as well.

how is your watering PH 7.0 with all those nutes?

looks like PH issues to me.

I had the exact same but worse on some seedlings - in the end the PH was way too high. Purple stems, crumpled growth, yellowing, dead spots. Basically P/Mag get blocked as well as other micro nutrients.

I know soil is best 6.5phand coco 5.5-6.

perhaps you have competing buffers...just a thought.

but if they messed up like that right after the cal mag then cal is blocking magnesium.

I’d give it a good rinse and add in some Epsom salts and make sure the feed is acidic.

If it’s a PH issue then the magnesium is already there but is probably imbalanced by too much calcium.

just my thinking’s

I don't agree that pH is too high with your medium, I have exactly the opposite opinion that it is too low between feedings/watering. My concern would be root rot which causes the lower pH which is why I recommend throwing some hydro-guard or similar product to rule that out. But 6.5 is my target for that medium.

Volatile swings in ph can shock the plant..Agreed, original pH is way too low if runoff is 5.9 when you ph of your new water is 7..I was always taught to gradually acclimatize ..Trying to make a change too rapidly will cause stress..

Your Quantum Board is hanging too close to the canopy. That's light bleach my friend. Interveinal chlorosis (yellowing, Mg deficiency) and advancing to rust spot (necrosis, Ca deficiency)...classic example of Ca and Mg deficiency due to the light being too intense. When the LED is too intense, Ca and Mg uptake needs to be increased by a huge amount. How do I know? Because I have experience what you are seeing.

First, keep all variables (i.e. watering schedule, feeding schedule, etc) the same BUT raise the light to 30" above canopy.

Then you neeed to figure out what is the appropriate PPFD value for your plant's growth stage. That looks like late veg? Then starting at the low range of the recommended ppfd value, and that's around 300 PPFD. Use your phone's lux app (download from the mobile store) and take the lux reading, then use the HLG's online lux conversion calculator to convert to PPFD. So, dim the light until you get around 300PPFD and keep the light at 30" above canopy.

Wait one week. Don't do anything crazy by feeding more crap. I bet the new growth/leaves will be healthy, green, and praying. The yellowing and droopy leaves are gonners as they will not fully recover. Just focus on new growth and keep them healthy. Read my latest post regarding this similar issue with how Quantum Board can easily burn you plants if you don't know what you're doing.

The ultimate goal as a grower is to keep the plants and leaves praying or angling up at all stages of growth. Praying plants are very happy plants. If the leaves are not praying, you can do better by getting your environment (VPD) and light intensity dialed in, given your soil has appropriate amount of nutrient. Also remember that the light is the driver of almost everything.

I forgot to add that once your plants are growing normally, then increase PPDF by the dimmer and/or hanging level slowly every few days until you reach the recommended ppfd value, but use it with a grain of salt. Use your judgment and keep the leaves from drooping, curling, and yellowing by adjusting the PPFD value and hanging level.

In order to be a good grower, one needs to read the plants. Cannabis is fun to grow because they will tell you what they want or don't.
