Custom Guitar Strings

Jus wondered if anyone can help me on here?
I need to find a guitar string manufacturer that does custom strings that are deliberately engineered to snap if more than say 8-9lb of pressure is applied to them,
to explain....my girlfriends brother is a child patient in a secure psychiatric unit and he has had his guitars taken away from him in case anyone gets hold of the strings and tries using them to strangle someone or themselves, this has led to a major decline in his interest in following his treatment regime or even taking his pills each day and now after months arguing with his doctors they have said he would be allowed the guitars back if they had strings on them that snapped easily( i.e.5-10lb of pressure/pulling etc)
so can anyone suggest anything?

Depending on the type of guitar, you may look at nylon strings that are super light gauge.

its for 1x electric guitar n 1x accoustic, had a look at the nylon ones but they dont break at a uniform breaking pressure(1 will break at 4lb an another from the same supplier will break at 8lb) and it needs to be a consistent breaking strain everytime for the doctors to allow it on the ward

What a shame - it is probably like when my arthritis got so bad I couldn't play anymore. Nothing worse than losing a creative outlet. You gotta have Art!
