Cut some fan leaves, bottom leaves turned bright yellow

friend of mine has this AK47 auto flower nearing harvest time so he decided to cut some fan leaves to allow the lower buds to develop more,

but now he sees two BRIGHT yellow leaves at the bottom and some of the middle leaves turning brighter green:spew:

he thinks the plant is sucking up the Nitrogen from the lower leaves to balance out the missing fan leaves


should he add some N in feeding to help even though its late in flowering??

you know under a 60x microscope the tric's are all milk white but theres not alot of sugar leaf and you can see that the buds are still 'swelling' id say 20days MAX prolly less than 2 weeks

It might be ok untill harvest, just seeing the centre of the plant changing colour is worrying
 
I cut most if not all of the fan leaves on my 12 plants 30 days in flowering, buds are swelling and plants are fine. Tell him not to worry.

You are fine if u are that close. Ive seen pics of awesome buds with nothing but yellow leaves.
 
Do not cut off any fan leaves which are not already dead.

This does not help the plant in any way. It hampers it.

Early pruning of bud sites which will not receive adequate light, in order to redirect the energy, is a different story
