Cutting branches stuns plant?

My plant has a few small branches, the very bottom two, that are pretty feeble but have a nice bud on each that I wanted to sample. Will it distress the plant if I trim off any branches? She's well into flower, only has a few weeks to go.

Use very sharp scissors to cut it....I usually lollipop the bottom 1/3rd of the plants so i don't have to deal with wispy lower buds, but if you want to sample it, go for it. I wouldn't suggest pulling it, You might take along some fiber that is connected to the main stem. Just cut it with a razor or sharp trimming scissors.

if you cut off lower branches the nutes will all go to the upper leaves and buds. don't cut more than a third of total leaves, THIS will stunt growth and budding
