cutting the top of my plant, GOOD IDEA?

I have been outdoor growing and my plant is beginning to flower. It just keeps growing tall, I am contemplating snipping the top of my plant, will this stop it growing tall and help it bush out? Will clipping the top damage the flowering process?

If you are in flowering, don't top it. Instead, use a rope and tie the top down. This will lower the plant's height and encourage more cola branching.

I thought it wasnt a good idea to do that in flowering , only ini veg , cause the stem is to strong by then and can snap easy?

just snap the top into a L shape and all the that energy that was pushing the top to grow will then be transferd to all the laterails, I do it all the time, and i only ever have done it while its flowering so anybody that says not to has never done it so you should not listen to there advice.

I have a 25 foot tall greenhouse and had to snap the tops into L shape on all 50 of my plants in my greenhouse due to them growing to tall and they were flowering and they are kicking ass.

been doing it for ever

even if it does snap, you were contemplating cutting the top of anyway, right? the top should be pretty pliable if flowering just started. i've never snapped an mj plant that couldn't be fixed with some duct tape. in my current crop i snapped the main stem while training the plant. it was hanging by a thread or two but it's been 3 weeks since the duct tape. i'm afraid to take the tape off but the leaves on it are still very much alive and plenty of new growth happened.
