Cuttings (first timer) Help required!

Hi,

I took some cuttings yesterday and put them in an x-stream aero propagator. I've just realised that the rooting hormone gel I used passed it's use before date last November I can buy some more tomorrow, should i re-dip them in hormone even though they'll have been in the propagator for for around 30-35 hours? Does anyone think the out of date stuff will root them?

You prolly won't even need it, just keep it in the water and make sure the water is oxygen rich and around 80 C

I use a homemade aero-rooting system and don't use any cloning gel with a very high success rate. You will certainly need to keep the water warm, but I think that he meant 80 F not C.

lol...I thought so. I have the water heated @ 26 C. I'll forget the rooting gel in that case GNS.
