Hey guys can anyone please answer me a question, i cant seem to find a answer anywere... i have just took a few cuttings from a plant i grew from seed an i have done everything correct ,exept i just realised i diddnt put atleast 1 of the nodes under the medium, they have been in rockwool now for 4 days in the dome, they dont look like shit or out but just want to know will they still root without 1 node under the rockwool, or is that were new roots are formed ???? //an is it too late to poke them further under to solve this problem?? someone please answer my question as i dont want to waste anymore time or money carrying on with these cuts if they wont work, thanx help will be well appreciated guys.:wall:

node below the medium ???? i have never done this and my clone count is in the 10000's
the roots form were your incesion is , thats why we use a clean blade and cut on a angle.....
nodes grow branches and leaves
not underground normally lol

every were i have looked says put atleast 1 node under the medium .. says take your cut then take , 1 sets of leaves off, flush to the cutting stem, then atleast 1 more underneath, an were you took the leaf off underneath, your supposed to put under the rockwool apparently lol, cheers for the reply tho , so do you think they will be o.k, : )

I have seen people doing what you speak of. They take the cutting about an inch below the node. They then remove leaves and tear off the lower leaf by hand. What this does is remove some of the outer skin off of the stem and exposes the inner cell wall to the rooting hormone. The same effect can be had by gently scrapping the skin off of the stem, near your angled cut, with a razor blade.

but is that neccesary(scraping stem) or will they still root,,well giving that i take care of enviroment, does all sound good to you ?? thanx

they should be good bro...i would leave them alone and see what happens...trying to move them now will just ruin whatever tiny roots they have...leave em be..might be a good idea to cut a few more just in case...wouldnt hurt
