CVS to stop selling cigarettes

Target has been doing this for years.

I smoke but support their decision. They can sell what they want.

Yet CVS benefits from "prohibition". They sell lots of things that require "permission" in the form of prescriptions and rake in lots of money due to the crony capitalism they participate in.

Fuck CVS and all other 3 letter government sponsored agencies that use threats against peaceful people.

I'm an x-cig smoker. It was a PITA to quit. When I first quit it bothered me when other people smoked. I could care less now.
I considered it their choice, if they want tips on quiting I give my advice and encouragement.

Taxing cigs is a trend I see coming to food that is deemed "junk" or "unhealthy".
Not selling these foods is right around the corner from that.

I'm not a snob about, I just don't like being in a room full of smoke, it gets me nauseated.
I have a few friends that smoke but they are mindful of their surroundings.
As far as taxing junk foods, I agree, it's just around the corner.

Its PR bullshit, still can get a beer, soda and prolly a pack of bacon at CVS....cell phones too.

When I smoked I would never buy from CVS anyhow they are too expensive.

Taxes is why I quit. Now I "smoke" a vape, when they start taxing that I will quit that too.

I get a headache now when playing cards with some of my friends.
They all smoke the native american brands sold in the "Rezzy".

Last I knew it was about $28.00 for a carton containing 10 packs. That is much less than the $9.00 a pack NY state gets at any non native american store. The feds found a way to tax non-native brands and they are no longer sold at the Rezz. The days of the guys buying Camels and Marlboros at the Rezz are over.
