Until water just barely comes out the bottom. I use to water my 5 gals with about 6 qts

It depends on how much your adding to the water... What does the bottle say for RO water?

normal watering is 10 percent of soil volume. 5 gallon pot: .5 gallons of water

you could go higher in the most porous of mediums. but for the most part we are talking potting soil here. occasionally 15%, but 10% is a good rule of thumb. plants in the ground in high clay soil wouldn't need that much

Sounds good to me man. KK you are indeed one of the most "pro" MJ gardeners ive ever seen.
I may be wrong in how much i was putting in my 5 gals.... cant remember for sure...
But i do know that in my 10 gal smartys, from totally dry (almost wilt point), i can get 2 gals water in them with so little drain out that its sucked back up in less then 5 mins.
Thats Pro organics base, and a roots based super soil. 50/50
Although, most of the time i dont let them get that dry. Just talkin extremes

bro u can put a lot of water in a pot to be sure. 3 years ago during my first outdoor grow i ran 20 gallon pots. by the end of summer each rootbound pot took almost 5 gallons of water daily. i dont let my pots get dry like that anymore so when i do irrigate, i dont need that much. i try to maintain an even moisture level instead of letting the pot get bone dry. but that takes a little more skill. which is why sub says to let em dry out. because if you cant dance that line correctly you can easily overwater.

That's what I did. I used half a gallon on each... It felt right. When it comes to this I go on feeling a lot and it's worked pretty well for me so far. Thank you fellas for the insight. I'm annoyed. I think I have a male!!!!! I'm hoping I'm wrong. But I don't think I am. I'm gonna wait. Hope I only have one. Actually zero but one looks like a dude. And one refuses to pop any prefliwers

you shouldnt need calmag or ph adjustments, unless you ph is waaaayyyy off. why are you bother with liquid nutes when you have everything needed in your super soil? K.I.S.S. bro... feed them if you see a problem, but dont waste your time solving problems that arnt even there.

Baking soda is Sodium bicarbonate. Plants aren't that fond of sodium, so I'd avoid that.
As far as the GO CaMg+, there nothin wrong with using that as the label recommends, but unless your tap water has VERY low dissolved solids (or you run it through a reverse osmosis) its probably not needed.
