Update! Have lots of pictures for you guys and general updates. So I got the Illuminated Microscope from Radio Shack today and was checking out trichs for about an hour. Ms. Small is not ready, which I already knew by looking at her bud but she has mainly clear trichs still. As for Ms. Tall, I would say she is riding 60% cloudy, 30% Amber, 10% Clear. Looks like she does need abit more time, but for sure less than a week (I am shooting for 50/50). Clones seem to be doing well, but everyone please give me opinions on how they look. My main girls are already set for what they are, but these clones will continue on their legacy! If they don't look right please someone tell me. :) I will be posting pictures individually so you can differentiate which one is which. Enjoy.

looks good man. way to go on the scope score. now you will know at exactly what phase everything is at. before i had one, i used to guess. then after harvest i would always second guess myself.... now with a scope, there is no guessing!

looking forward to the harvest pics soon!!!!

Just curious with your clones they look funny to me. It seems like there are a ton of little branches and shoots but the leaves don't look like normal pot leaves. What caused this

I already know why the clones look strange. They were taken during flower, and very commonly strange growth happens when you go back into the "reveg" cycle for plants. I'm not worried about the way they look, just their health! :)

That's what I figured it was from but I have never actually seen one close up and grown out like that. From what I can tell they look healthy to me

Yea I think they are doing fine. And thank you everyone for stopping in, quite an exciting time indeed! News today is that I made brand new clones! My idea is to basically keep it so that two plants are towards the end of flowering, two plants are about to enter flowering, and two clones have just been made from the plants about to enter flowing. Keeping a cycle like that! :) Both of these clones however are clones off of Ms. Small's Clone. Her pheno has proven superior and I am probably going to let Ms. Tall's pheno die off unless her bud is better than expected (which in that case I still have Ms. Talls clone to draw from). My last question to everyone would be this, are my clones ok to be put into flowering soon? They are actually bigger than when I put my original plants into flowering, I'm just worried since the growth hasn't fully normalized yet that this could be bad to do. Thank you, any input is welcome! :)

Another question I have ontop of the clone question would be, when you have harvested your bud and are going to dry them, is it ok for light to hit the bud? Or should it be in a totally dark place?

you could flower them now if you wanted to. they would yield more if you left them veg for a week or two more. you can start feeding them flower nutes a couple weeks before flowering to help get a start.

and never, never keep buds in the light... cotton is correct, only it doesn't disrupt anything.... it straight up degrades the THC. even your stash bag should be kept in the dark.

may i ask why you decided to go for 12/12 from the start, im about to start my first grow and contemplating a short veg or 12/12 from start my grow area is 30 inches tall so if i do veg ill prob only veg to a max height of 10 inches in case the plant triples when i switch to 12/12

Thanks for the information guys! I always knew about not keeping your weed in the light, so I figured it was the same when drying/curing them. I need to find a spot that stay dark X.X which is easier said than done.

Stoney, the only reason why I really was thinking about flowering them soon is because of how small my grow area is currently. They are actually even bigger than when I starts Ms. Tall and Ms. Small into flowering. I am just worried that since the growth hasn't normalized they won't be as happy. Did you base this off how they look, or just want to see them get bigger? Haha :D

Hey Ecropolis, thanks for stopping by. I started 12/12 from the start to basically make it so that the plants went into sexing/flowering as soon as possible. This (I have read) helps to cut down on size because basically they will double/triple in size when they begin to flower. So if they are as small as possible before flower, than you are keeping your plant as small as possible throughout the entire thing. Note though, that this will obviously have an impact on your yield. I would highly suggest looking into LST in such a small area, since you are going to have to accommodate for lights, pots, and soil. Also, LST helps you get the most yield possible by the plant concentrating on many different parts, not just the main cola. LST = Low Stress Training, and its basically what you see me doing with all the hooks in my picture. Just pulling the plant to where I want it.

The reason i said for them to get a little bigger is that the stems look quite thin in the photos and tiny stems make for tiny buds. i have learned this the hard way.

Alright, sounds good to me. Just like to hear reasoning before I take advice, I will wait for the stems to thicken :) What stems should I be paying attention too, or all of them?
