Dadio's Current Happenings

Okay , I will be using 1 1/2 inch rockwool cubes and Schultz take Root rooting powder that I bought from Walmart.

I cut the bottom of each clone at an angle and scraped the bottom 1/2" .
I next trimmed the leaves to help promote root growth and remove some of the weight.
Next , they get soaked in water for about one minute.

I then dip stem into rooting powder and shake off the excess.
Then I just place them into the hole in the rockwool cube.

After cutting my 9 clones , I placed them in the tray and covered it with a humidity dome and placed tray under the T-5 lights.
Now to monitor them and report on their progress.

Here are a couple of pics of the 5 clones put into cubes today to start vegging.

Time for a new update on my babies.

Today is 11 days since I cut my new clones. BANG !! We have roots coming in. I had a little problem using the insert I got to hold the cubes . It was holding more water than I cared for , so I took it out and just set the cubes on the bottom tray. humidity dome started doing better too. No drooping of any of the babies. Everyone looking well.

Just a quick report. Now have 7 clones with roots out of 9. Will wait a while longer for the other two. they will come along. thinking positive.
