just a quick drive by as i steal a stealth minute before digging into my grow...
THINK about your grows! think about stealth and security under all sorts of conditions.
for example, i have a house guest who has no idea about my secret room behind the false wall. while i am confident that the grow wont be found by accident, it has made watering VERY difficult! i also have a harvest that is due about now, so this post will be real short and might not make much sense....
to cover for my having to leave my grow alone for days on end, i have added trays that actually hold water in my grow. i over water the plants a bit and let them suck the water back up. so far, this is working well. i am not seeing over water or under water signs... cept on my clones... those are a different story... but they are all alive at least
actually, this is one of the selling points to running a hydroponic setup.
luckily for me, i have a small garden and dont get many house guests.
so far, things have gone well and since i planned for it and did things like over cut clones... normally i cut 4 clones at a shot but this time i cut 8 and only lost 2 so far due to neglect... 2 others may not make it, but the rest are just fine.
Glad to see my town got good ratings!!!
for all the new growers out there(ex.:ME ahah) watch out for those male plants, if you're hoping for a seedles batch your first round i'd suggest a pocket microscope and monitor the nodes(where the 2 adjacent leaves grow) look for BALLS..trust me it becomes very apparent. If you've determined a plant male CAREFULY MOVE IT away from the other plants, trying not to "spill" some pollen on plants.
Decide from there wethear or not you'd like to make some hash, or any of those cool things you can do with plants.
i hope that's a good tip, i randomly got into growing this year without any real intention of doing so untill a business opportunity knocked on my door. This forum is AMAZING THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO edit:: make sure there are no "stigmas" or hairs coming out of the 'ball', that means it's female!! don't get hasty you might rip out a plant that's female! be confident in your decision and learn from experience!!!!!
