Damaged/removed preflowers

Hello Everyone. I was in the garden this morning and noticed some signs of preflowering on a couple of my girls. They’re about 7 weeks from seed so this makes sense. My question today is about how plants react when their pistols have been removed. I was rushing before work and accidentally scraped the pistols off of my most mature plant. I know the she’ll recover just fine, but my curiosity is about the plants biological response to preflower damage. I’ll include a couple of photos showing where the pistols were scraped off. They were fairly new, no more than a centimeter long, I’d say they shot out within the last couple of days. Could some of the more experienced gardeners or those who have extensive knowledge of biology/botany enlighten me? Thanks.

First off, those are not pistils. Also, and I'm not 100% sure because of the photo quality, but that does not look like girl parts. But I would need a clearer pic to confirm. Here is a lady preflower, looks like a tear drop, left side of node:

Here is a boy, looks like twin crab claws:

As far as damaging a preflower, I would not be too concerned about it. That is a sign of maturity, and has nothing really to do with how the flowering/bud stacking starts. I have a plant that went through multiple traumatic events and she is exploding with buds now.

Yes, the two photos are the places where the pistols were scraped off. The little round spots are what’s left. I’ll include a picture of pistols from the same plant, but they were much smaller than the ones I removed.

If that's the case, I wouldn't sweat it. At least you know sex and you can look for those bud sites to start forming.
