Hello Everyone. I was in the garden this morning and noticed some signs of preflowering on a couple of my girls. They’re about 7 weeks from seed so this makes sense. My question today is about how plants react when their pistols have been removed. I was rushing before work and accidentally scraped the pistols off of my most mature plant. I know the she’ll recover just fine, but my curiosity is about the plants biological response to preflower damage. I’ll include a couple of photos showing where the pistols were scraped off. They were fairly new, no more than a centimeter long, I’d say they shot out within the last couple of days. Could some of the more experienced gardeners or those who have extensive knowledge of biology/botany enlighten me? Thanks.
