Dammit I HATE going through withdrawal

Haven't smoked since Saturday(my choice, trying to lower tolerance) so I've been wide awake the past few nights, even woke up in heavy body sweat a few times the past couple of days.

Oh well, these symptoms never last more than a week for me and its already Wed. Its a small price to pay onsidering how badly nicotine addicts have it when they quit.

Just wish I would fall asleep around 12-1 instead of 3-4ish :cuss:

Not a good idea for me. I'd sleep right through my alarms because I have hearing loss so the meds would be even more effective for me, putting me in a deep sleep would make it literally impossible to wake me up until I come out of it naturall

you can get them in like glasses forms and you plug it into this little box there is loads of different settings for different things like stress and sleep, its called a mind lab or something, my dad used to have one

i havent smoked mj in a few days either. i also wake up in the middle of the night with cold sweats. ill be soaking wet with sweat. my back pains are comming back. i also had a headache for the last day or two. i smoked mainly cuz of my back. the headache i have is caused by nerve damage along with my lower back ailment. i live in florida and i pray to god that i can get a card when its time (2010). i feel your pain.

That sucks man, I'm lucky, only get the insomnia when I stop after long periods of smoking. Few things that tend to help me...

- Stop any and all caffeine around 4/5 hours before you goto bed
- Eat a light (or earlier) dinner
- Cut out all light in your room if you can, or get them as dim as possible. Alarm clocks will keep me up like nothing else, pisses me off bad.
- Background white noise, like a stand-fan or something similar. If its too quiet I hear a buzzing in my ears that will keep me up all night long. Its a condition I can't seem to remember the name of, has to do with muscle spasms in the ear drums, I hate it.
- If you watch TV to goto sleep, find the most boring thing and whatever you do DO NOT WATCH DISCOVERY! I swear, you find something that seems boring like "watching paint dry during the aztek period" and then turns out to talk about all the various types of rituals and such they use. Next thing you know, its 5am and you know more about the aztek's then your co-workers ever will.

Shit man, I'm with you on the withdrawal thing... going through the same shit, had to put the ceiling fan on last night and took a sleeping tab just to get to sleep.
Just fucking hate those nightsweats withdrawal can give you. Then you are hot then freezing cold, alternating for hours.
Luckily this, for me, happens towards the end of the physical withdrawal process. The better weed you've been smokeing the longer and more severe the effect.
Either way, you should be physicaly ok in 2 more days max. The very longest it has pained me was about 2 weeks.

I suspect the cold sweat thing is your body trying to harvest cannaboids stored in your body fat.

to the ones having problems sleeping-
try natural melatonin, u can get it at just about any pharmacy or place that sells vitamins. my old lady gets em at the local grocery store.
1 makes u a lil sleepy
2 makes you sleep.
ive never gotten to 3, lol.
i only use it when im wide awake after 10pm and know im not going to be falling asleep on my own anytime soon.
stuff works great, and unlike a pm or otc sleeping pill, it has no aspirin or other nasty shit in it
