still a little early to tell for sure but i would bet you are correct its a male.in the next few days you will know for sure.and yes chop the male especially if u have other "girls".soil usage is not something i can give advice on as i use coco.I would think if u clean it of excess roots sterilize it you should be fine.

Thats how male AND female flowers look before they develop, give it some time, if it gets double that size without pistils then get worried ;)

EDIT: And generally speaking, pistils develop first at the top and work their way down...

But as a general rule of thumb, if your flowering before you get definite female preflowers (its like a calyx with two tiny skinny little pistils) on the 8th -12th nodes (not all but one of them will have it) then you're flowering before its mature and you wont ever get that plant to its "peak".

Hope this helps.

well as a rule males generally show first.usually around 2-5 days before the females. Also males tend to be a little more stretchy looking(taller, and more space between nodes)

Sooooo hopefully the 2 little balls will flop out some pistils? Is that the hope?
Just ignore everyone telling you otherwise and wait and see. Iv had many the plant I thought was male that turned out to actually be the best female plant of the batch. It'll be plainly obvious what is male and what isnt given time.

Happy growing :)

Every male I have pulled significantly outgrew ladies during veg. It probably is male, but there is no concern until pollen sacs actually develop with respect to cross-pollination of other plants.

Wellllllll let's just say for instance I was told to put it to 12-12 @5 weeks its in flowering light now and from what I've read here you shouldn't go 12-12 before they've reached maturity soooo not too sure if I jumped the gun on the 12-12 but ...yea plants are all around 25 inchs tall this burley bastard was about 31 lol

But also I look at them every day and today is the first sign of sex these little indicators popped up over night so idk if this is just how all male / female indicators start but if so then I'm crossing my fingers it'll sprout some pistils
