That's a safe bet.

I HATE the seedling stage and how g'damn sensitive the little bastards can be. I've killed seedlings with:
-Too much water [hence, the turkey baster]
-Not enough water [while bottom feeding in a seedling tray]
-Not enough light [stretch, fall over, die syndrome. Fixed by leaving room for more soil in the germ container]
-Not enough food [Now I give them 1ml per gal of grow nutes as soon as they start forming their 1st leaves]

I like em' once they get like 5 or 6 nodes, they're much more enjoyable and hardy then they are when they're still little seedlings.

Typically,seedlings grow too tall because the light is too red. Get a cool white bulb until they get 2nd node, then add more red. I have grown plenty of seedling under 6500; they were quite short, bushy, lots of internodes. and instead of a turkey baster get an eye dropper, much less chance of overwatering

I forgot but i was just watering. Get a walmart spray bottle. Spray around it. It saved my seedlings from seedicide.

If using ro water a pinch of plain epsom salts doeant hurt.

I think year one i murderd 400 bucks of seeds.

Typoa due to cant find my glasses.

Idk if this has been said at all didn't fell like reading to much, but damping off is a disease that will stay in your soil on your hands and on gardening tools..

Or rockwool cubes haha and they should be dryer then you would think

No domes

I have been able to save a damping off seed but you have to act fast haha most the time they die

Seedlings like mid 80's. Get them 1 inch below a T-5 6500 kelvin rating. Make sure they twitch from a fans breeze. Keep the soil damp but not soaked. Give them 24 hours of light the first 10 days after they sprout. Use a solo cup with a small hole in bottom and high quality potting mix. Transplant to at least 5 gallon pots after 10-14 days. You will have beastly seedlings. The End.

Domes are good for the first 36 hours after planting and watering the seed. If your temps are good 36 hours is long enough for the seed to crack beneath the soil. They hold in moisture and warmth. After 36 hours they need to be removed.
