Damping off

Hi Guys,
I decided to grow out some freebie seeds. One plant (Gorilla Jam) fell over flat at age 12 days. There was darkish discoloration on stem at the soil line (coco actually)...but no narrowing ("necking") at that point.

My efforts to save it includes physical support and powdered sulfur. I apply sulfur to the base on all my seedlings as preventative...but it gets washed away with watering. So I re-applied it.

Now it's just wait and see if she'll survive. I'll post a picture if she makes it. My purpose for this posting is to demonstrate the efficacy of sulfur as anti.microbial..

Day 1 of recovery...plant can stand with no support, but wobbly. Kept support in place. Stem still discolored. This plant I caught early with no necking on stem...and so far, looks like it'll make it.

but thats not damp off, the stem would be shrunk there at the base.
had seeds that happened to them I think atleast on the mainstem it looked bent but wasn't just malformed their was no she was going to survive but for the main thread you could probably use a repot so you can burry the stem and and just let her grow she needs to get her stem to fatten up for support

It was laying flat. And I have 8 other seedlings that are standing tall with healthy stems. I think I caught it early before the stem "pinching in: occurs.

I didn't even expect a response.
