Dang seeds!

Just gotta vent real quick. Why is it that 15 out of 16 bagseeds germ. & sprout perfectly and 0 of the 5 fem. NL seeds I ordered still wont germ after almost 2 weeks! I only sprouted the bagseed to keep me occupied while I was waiting for my NL seeds! Ive got 2 in rapid rooters in my humidome, 2 in a paper towel and 1 went straight to dirt. They all semi-cracked open the first day of germ but seem to be stuck that way! Ahhh all I want is 1 NL to sprout dammit!

I folded one paper towel, seeds are in between - its damp constant (it dried out maybe 2 times for a short period)

It's inbetween plates in a zip lock...

I wet them every 6 hrs or so...

that shit sux man.. ya i've never had a prob germ/sprouting bagseeds.. they always work it seems

even bought a heat pad... it was set to high, but it was a cheap one so it didnt get overly hot... but it was pretty heated. MUCH more than a back of a tv... haha. So it's on medium now.

are they warm enough? they like to be warm too.. like fold paper towel into quarters, dampen it, ring it out, put like 6 seeds in there, fold it over again , so it's like a rectangle and fits into a plastic ziplock perfectly, put it in a ziplock, zip it, put it in a warm dark place (tv, monitor, heater..) anywhere, i put 4 in the heater the other day, (i have a little door on the front that goes to a cubby) i put em in there for 1 day and they cracked.. if i use the tv or CRT monitor it takes 2 days, if i leave them in a colder spot it takes forever.

i just germed 9 nl seeds. they were all slow. so i soaked first in water overnight then put in wet towel covered with plates on a heat mat. that worked. i now know to use a agri heat mat and rw plugs and a cube tray with insert with humidome. you can get for 30-60 dollars all this. any way i germed 8 with no probs and won would not. it took another soak in glass of water then it opened. i put that one in rw and i could not get that nl seed to grow and i finally gave up with it cracked. they do like a little heat. a agri heat mat is awesome and worth it. i used first s reg heating pad but i put it under the lid of a 18 gallon rubbermaid, then put its plate on the lid. i kept it on low and used beer cups over the cubes misted. so warm and humidty got the seeds to germ then sprout. they all came up healthy adn stronger looking than bagseed. very thick plant nl is, and under 400 watt mh conversion blub they got some tight internodes. try heat but not too much and lots of humidity, also using some h202 as prescribed would help i hear. i plan too but have not yet.

Yea my 2 in paper towels is inside my humidome with my 2 in the rapid rooters. I too have a heat mat under my humidome. Yea no shit, bagseed always sprouts! Dammit! Hmm, maybe the NL are just real slow, I dunno.

Wow,, thats sum bum f-n luck that u guys are havin that much probs gettin these seeds to crack.....NOW,, Im not tryin to brag or be an asshole, but, out of 187 seeds I ve put in a pper towel, most of them came up,, I did lose 12, but most of them were lookin weak anyway... and I do these the same way basically........plate,, 4 pper twls, seeds, 4 more pper twls then a folded up rag, like a square peice of ripped up t-shirt folded up and very wet put on top to keep it wet,, then I put it in my cabinet in my kitchen under my counter,, I check every day,, and WHALA, IN 3 MONTHS I HAVE THE BEST SH1T IN MY WHOLE AREA, WITHOUT A DOUBT......O.K. so I bragged a little there at the end,, but you get the idea,,, good luck to all,,, everyone..................

I have to admit though, I threw a couple seeds in these rapid rooters and like 3 days later they were 2" tall little babies. Ive never done it that way before this, thats why Ive got a few different methods goin right now, I just want my NLs!
