Dankman's Mystery PC Grow

again it may be apples to oranges.. but this was just taken, day 27 from seed. its kept in the center of my larger plants under a scrog so its partialy shaded and I only water if I happen to have extra in the jug after the others haha.. dunno if it helpful to you- but hopefully it is.

Whoa dude lol.. is that an auto? Looks pretty healthy for being root bound like that. The Blueberry I got from Peakseeds apparently only gets to about 2-3ft so I'm not too concerned about the height, a few days ago she was on her 3rd set, now the 4th set is coming in.. waiting until the 5th starts then I'm gonna top and LST her. I'm thinking about 8in of vertical growth before training horizontally under the screen, shes at about 5in right now.

yeah, this whole grow is auto. I wanna find all my faults (and quickly refill my jars haha) before I start another real grow. I yanked all the lower growth off that solo cup after the photo and i'm gonna let it grow with the others from here on out- its gonna be close on whether or not it can make it to the screen before its totally under the shade of the real plants around. we'll see. It should flower even in a little light- afterwards i'll be able to say "I smoked a whole plant in one sitting before" haha

8" of vertical is more or less what the plants in my journal saw for the most part. I went a little taller since i'm not on height/space restrictions- I just worry since they are auto's I don't wanna waste watts on partially empty screen from waiting to long to put the net up ya know?

Good idea BZ.. how long do autos usually take to harvest? I wouldn't run them under anything but CFLs. When we move, was thinking use this cab as an auto/veg box and get a small 4x2 tent or something for a perpetual setup... Who knows.

How bout putting a book or two under the solo cup so it reaches the screen? ATM your just gonna be supporting it unless you can somehow get it up there and feed those nodes down under the screen so they all turn into bud sites.

Lost a couple weeks due to overfeeding early in seedling stage would be my guess. Any thoughts on starting FF Grow Big at 1/4 strength? She looks pretty healthy considering, and the purple stem/veins are starting to fade to green, so I don't think she needs any nutes yet, just trying to speed up foliage growth somehow to make up for lost time.

generally I wouldn't reccoment auto's but if you choose its 9-10 weeks is a loose guideline, you can finish a bit faster with smaller harvest or run 11 weeks and squeeze everything you can out of it- this is my first run with autos so thats just based on the hours of reading other peoples journals and such. I'm at like 30 days and the flowers are just kinda starting, I'd bet I won't be needing my scissors until at least 10 weeks.

If you had a second area i'd use it for a mother so you can just take clones and not spend $$ on seeds- plus you'll be able to dial in that particular strain perfectly

raising it is a good idea, I just might do it if it doesn't make it to the screen in time.

I have some cfl's I could throw around under the net to shine on those nodes but once everything gets a little thicker at the net i'll be removing 100% of growth under the nets so all the energy goes up top..

Went to check on her today and noticed about an inch of new growth!! Now shes a whopping 5in tall!! Whoop whoop! The 4th set (2nd true set) came in and the 5th set started to so I decided to top her at the 3rd true set (5th node). First time topping, pretty sure I did it right, hopefully she recovers in a few days!

Did you leave the 2 side shoots coming out , dosent look like you did...... Might be wrong ....!

Any growth happing (pics) ?

I hope its just the camera angle but I think steve is right. looks like you be-headed her.... hopefully we are wrong...

Yeah I was impatient, you can't see it but there was a little life on either side of the main shoot before I took it off... I guess I should have waited until the two baby shoots grew out some more.. figured doing it early would result in accelerated redistribution of auxins.. but what the hell do I know Lol.. chalk it up to trial and error

2 days after topping w/ minimal growth beforehand.. these two shoots plus new growth between nodes are a little on the yellow side, thinking about starting Grow Big at 1/4 strength next watering which should be in about 2-3 days


I also found this and got a little paranoid, scoped the entire plant at x60 and this was the only thing I found so I don't think it's an insect problem, maybe a drop of water that burnt through? What do you guys think?

As for the hole I just think its a nick on the leaf but what do I no I've never had bugs, that I no of haha...

Thx dude, not sure what would of happened if I chopped the whole thing off lol.. my guess is she would redistribute her energy towards the existing nodes.. sort of the same concept as pruning?

Gonna pop by ur journal, see how things are going, when are u gonna harvest?
