So, I got invited to go camping for a week with an old friend and decided to call in some favors, and say,"Fuckit. S'go." Do some fishing, maybe a little dabbing. Just caught a little rain last night, too, so odds are that a little mushroom hunting could proove to be unquantifiably fruituitous. Just thought I'd give you guys a quick heads up before I bail. Hope you guys have a good week. Have fun. Be safe.

Figured I'd share this shot over here since not a lot of people on my journal no more. Don't blame people I barely update anymore, it's more or less for myself now. :-P
Anyways this is a shot of a taste bud of my Lucid X (bagseed plant) I'm harvesting in a week. Starting to see bits of purple on the calxys now, surprised me.

I'm going to have a very colorful tent the last few weeks of flowering.... I've working with a 15-20 degree nightly temp drop. :)

[h=4]Nighttime Temperatures[/h] The difference between day- and nighttime temperatures is referred to as the DIF and it is widely agreed that increasing the DIF has a positive effect in steering most plants towards flowering. When growing indoors it is pretty straightforward to record day and night temperatures using a simple max./ min. thermometer. It is also straightforward to drop the night temperature, because the biggest source of heat - the lamp - is off during the night period.
During the veg stage, you will achieve optimum growth by keeping the DIF constant. Use a fan heater, or similar, to raise the night temperature once the lamp is off. Measure your minimum night temperatures and set the heater on a timer to warm the grow room throughout the ‘lights off' period.
For the flowering stage, the optimum DIF is around 46.4º - 50º F (8º - 10º C), so if your maximum day temp is around 82.4º F (28º C), aim for a night temperature of around 64.4º F (18º C).
This drop in temperature forces sugars held in the plant towards the buds. This is because as the air temperature cools, the plant will cool with it. The leaves hold less mass than the buds and therefore cool at a quicker pace, causing the sugars held in them (which they have been producing all day) to be moved to the flowering sites, where they advance bud growth.
And here's my thermometer.SAM_0197.jpg

Nevermind on creation of cherry pie. It's kinda fucked up.... It's [F1 x Durban]xGDP
however. The initial cross with Durban is not known. So people say F1 Durban x GDP.

ALSO, the only reason the GDP was pollinated is because the F1 Durban hermed on him.
He had 3 plants together in his garage grow, from what i have read, the F1 hermed pollinating BOTH OG and GDP.

Produced were the Clone Only strains GSC from the OG Kush, and Cherry Pie from the GDP.

GSC was then tested until the thin mints pheno was discovered, stabilized, and sold by BC Bud Depot.

GSC by CaliConnection is Cherry Pie x OG Kush.... It's NOT thin mints as advertised.

So I cannot re-create the strain in seed form. Sad but true. It will never be the same.

There's my shpeel. PEACE... lol
