Your are correct Ice. Coco only amended with perlite offers almost no nutritional benefits to the plant, you need to feed them from the start. Or next grow add some worm castings to your mix. Then your good to go for a bit. In my opinion they are just hungry. Up their food a bit at a time and I bet they will be fine. The dark color you see is purpling from being nitrogen deficient.....a water soluble source of N like blood meal mixed(start 1/2 tsp per gallon) with your drench would do them wonders I bet. I am not familiar with jungle juice but do know its organic and your simple mix may not contain the bennies needed to process it so the plant can feed on it. A worm casting tea would benefit the plants and the medium.

You might want to drop Jondamon a PM if he dosent see your post and stop by on his own. He is the man to get you heading in the right direction.
Spot on mate.

Originally I was using just the Jungle Juice "Grow" when I should have been using a mixture of the micro, grow & bloom. I got them through on Thursday and gave them a slight flush, then a nice feed. They have purked up a lot. I also added in a bit of cal-mg to the mix too, I'm really pleased with their progress. The EC of the water after leaving it out for 36 hours was 300, I added in my nutes and cal-mg which took it to 400. I then PH'd the mix to 5.8. The run-off ph'd at 6.3 and the EC was 415.

Looking good and glad they are doing better. And 300 ppm tap water may already contain enough cal and mag so I would go easy on it. And maybe only use if if a cal or mag deficiency begins to show.
