darkness problems while growing outside

hi new poster long time grower. growing some beautiful potted plants and they are starting to show there first signs of bud. My question is will the street light directly outside my back yard be enough to adversely affect them?

probably... but not by much. can't you make a frame around it,put black sacks over it. for best results the dark cycle has to be complete darkness. no light leaks they say!!! hope this helps..

sorry about the long delay with a reply on vacation. Moved them into the shade of a tree, so the light isn't shinning directly on them, but there is still alot of ambient light at night. it's july and there already budding with a little help, miracle grow bloom food should i still have to worry about the light, cause i have to spend more time away not able to cover at night for 3 nights a week
