Nice colors.
I’m still thinking about cartoonish people. In my line of work I see very unusual human traits. One that has been sizzling on my mind is the old man who had many hairs growing out of the tip of his.. ( May I dare say it!)
NOSE!
It was shocking to say the least. Not just one crazy hair but like a patch of 10 or so! They were quite long. At least an inch to an inch and a half.
It’s been about a couple weeks since the sighting and the humor took a bit to bubble up inside me. Oh , what joy! How funny that nose.
Today, I thought about setting those hairs on fire with a lighter. What might have happened? Would he have noticed later the hairs were gone? Might he have gotten a bit more pep in his step?
I can only imagine.

A classic. Is Jack Herer in that book?
We just picked some up yesterday. He still lives on and is not forgotten.
One of my favorite strains for sure. There's gotta be there's mention of Rosenthal so I would think so. It's alot of rabbit hole reading from topic to topic on everything. I just flipped through quick and didn't see him specifically, I'll have to check again.

Thinning out my portfolio now. This is all I have left. My best pieces or what I consider my best and favorite were drawn in 1997 and 2013. I’m working on making a foam board sleeve to fit them in.

I would love to sell them right now and get them up into a happy home. If you know anyone that would like one, two, three or all I can mail them off and make your best offer.

Next post has some more drawings.

Paper and pencil.

PM me if interested.IMG_3223.jpegIMG_3224.jpegIMG_3225.jpeg

My sister framed and hung up this painting in her house.
It was in storage until
Just recently when she finally decided to hang it up with such renewed enthusiasm. Or just like a lightbulb went off in her head.
My father asked me to do a painting for him of her shortly after she passed away. It was just a year after she died. I used an old photograph of her . It might have been her wedding photo. I don’t remember. I do remember how challenging it was to paint this. There was some kind of controversy with this painting when my father got remarried.
I am glad it finally found a suitable home. She looks happy here.

This is a painting my mother.
