hello. I had a talk with a friend that said you can use dawn dishwashing detergent to treat spider mites. Has anyone ever tried this? Does it work?
Thanks!
Thanks!
They can go dormant for a long time in cold temperatures . OP do yourself a favor and get some mighty wash or Flying Skull nuke em.32 oz water 1 oz Dawn 1 oz veg oil and just before applying use 1 oz of rubbing alcohol. You can control them but they are hard to kill with just that solution, You use a Hot Shot Pest stip along with that spray to get rid of them. It is the one that stands alone just set it under the plants your having problems with, it will take some time to rid your room of all them, and if you can keep the heat down to below 60 F if you can, they don't reproduce when it is below that temp.
Good Luck Hope you rid your room of those little SOB's

The soap and water merely suffocates them like most oil based contact sprays. Where Mighty wash and nuke em are contact kill if it hits them it will kill them and doesn't have to suffocate. Eggs and all.
The whole idea of ANY contact kill spray working is coverage, you've got to hit the little bastards.
Since you didn't mention at what point in the grow you are there could be other options , toxic systemic options where you don't have to contact to kill. Keep in mind if you do use a systemic that it will remain in the plant for a certain period of time depending on which insecticide you use.
I referred/replied to your post because it was relevant. I just explained the reasoning behimd it. You can use nothing but water if youre persistent enough. You're doing nothing but drowning them. The hot shot pest strip now that I noticed you mention some would frown on but whatever works and is safe for youI think the question was did anyone use that or have and Feedback on using Dawn, I gave the OP what he was asking for info on if anyone has used any, I did and No longer have them by doing exactly what I posted. Gone, no more pests. But feel free to use what ever is at your hands and can try.
But I used what I stated with the dawn and the hot shot never seen the little buggers again. I have heard good things about the mighty wash and some that didn't work to. No Idea way you replied to my post. I was just answering the question asked. anyways what ever you use hope you get rid of the little Pricks...
Good Luck
Thanks guys! I've found them in plants from week 3 to week 7 of flower I'm perpetual. I can get the products you've said But curious for the later stage plants. I'm not seeing a lot just very small areas. They can go dormant for a long time in cold temperatures . OP do yourself a favor and get some mighty wash or Flying Skull nuke em.

On a note the Nuke em is also a natural fungicide so if you're dealing with any excess humidity it wouldn't hurt. Thanks guys! I've found them in plants from week 3 to week 7 of flower I'm perpetual. They can breed exponentially, 1, 2, 4, 16, 256, 65536Thanks guys! I've found them in plants from week 3 to week 7 of flower I'm perpetual. I can get the products you've said But curious for the later stage plants. I'm not seeing a lot just very small areas.

Those first three numbers look small, I know.
But the next three...and the number after that, 4,294,967,296, that's scary stuff.
1 pregnant female can become 4.3 billion in only seven breeding cycles, which can mean as little as 35 days.
Do not hesitate.
Read this shit, wow!
