Day 1 of Flowering; ICE and AFGHAN!

Idk if anyone is following my posts, but im a newb at this and so far imo, my first grow is going great with hardly any problems.

I plan on watering with a MG Flower Bloom every two or three waterings, flushing in between.

They are sitting under a 400wt HPS.

Also, for the odor control...i plan on buying the Febreeze Plug-In Carbon Filter.
My grow area is 8X3X10, i think it will suit it well.
I would like some comments on the Febreeze thing if anyone knows anything about it.

So far, all of the plants are girls
I have one plant in the back left corner that started growing all weird from the beginnning, and to my surprise, its not a hermie, but a female. It doesnt have an actual "pattern" of growing like a normal plant. If anyone has ever had this, did you get like a retarded yield amount or potency just because shes "different"? lol

I think you might run into smell issues with that plug in. If money is a issue, you can build a DIY ona filter for about $30. Plants look good. I hear that ice is dank. Good luck!

if thats tin foil on the pots id take it off it love heat and it will radiat it and it might hurt your plants. but they look real nice and healthy

looks nice newbie but you should of left them vegging for atleast 2 more weeks if you really want a good harvest but good luck anyways

Thanks everyone. Ok I plan to take the foil off, thanks. And if the carbon filter doesn't work that I had my eye on, I'll jus bring it back and get some Ona Gel.

I was planning on switching them to the HPS and 12/12 cycle tonight. But y should I wait two more weeks? I thought as soon as you could declare their sex in veg, that it was time to flower.

Looks good! I usually just wait until they're about 12" - 16" tall then I put them under the HPS on 12/12 to force flower. Keep it up!

I also noticed you went to home depot and bought some buckets, good move! Those roots will be MUCH happier . As a rule of thumb... 1 gallon for every month the plant is alive, so 3 - 5 is good.

depending on your max grow size ...you could veg longer or shorter..i vegged for four weeks cause i dont have all the space in the world, plan on 2-3x as big when switching the light.

Thanks man! I'm really anxious about my first crop! I will keep posting new pics as it goes on.

you can do it that way but if you think about it more plant growth more bud you will learn over time in other words the bigger the plant the bigger the yield.
