:-PGrowing pretty ghetto here, just doing it as a hobby & something to tweak with, & cause I love the herb.

Miracle Gro Drainage Control , 60/40 soil / perlite
One 40 watt CFL , One 60 watt HPS .
Random seed
Temperate is 85f* lights on, 70f* off
18/6 on/off
Been thriving with the new soil, the roots love it.

Having a problem with humidity?:( i cant get my box to stay humid no matter what I do...
Day 12, how are things looking??
When should I start Nut'ing?


alsoo ::::: i know the walls are bare, no type of reflectant. would fry my plants in a second , sucks growing in an inclosed box..

looks decent, maybe a tad too watered. Little droopy. Best thing you can do is get more light. And i am not sure what that HPS light you have it, but the ones i am used to require an external ballast. Is that one built onto the bulb or are we dealing with a different animal?

cant u find something clear plastic or glass to put over the top of it to incubate it and keep the moisture in, wheres the top of that tub that uv cut off would enough light get thru that? spray it then put the lid and move the lights closer, i think it will survive with out the incubation at that stage but it might take longer just try to spray it a few times a day and move the lights central above it, its leaning toward the light and bending over, Karr is that picture of yourself? budsmokers are'nt usualy as hot as that

yes, i could. but i want my plant as close as possible to the light so i can keep it small, stealth grow obv.

Yeah it's too wet. Put a cup next to yours that just has soil in it. When your plant weighs the same its time for water. Usually about every third day or so

Yeah mine are in rockwool and expanded clay pellets and I only water every 2 days.
But the roots are almost in the water now, so I can stop watering soon..

thanks man....growing without anybody knowing, in a closet, in a box, minimum money, under shit lights. i honestly thought i did pretty good with LST and good for how long its been in soil... but thanks man, appreciate your input.

I think you should think about using light bulbs that are more in the blue spectrum. Those lights look to me like 2500k - 3000k, which is great for flowering but, when vegging, you should look for 5000k - 6500k or "cool" blue. I saw a 4 pack of 26w cfls 5500k at Walmart for $6.97.

I think its a combo of too much water and wrong type of lighting to start.

hmm..well when they woke up i checked and the bottom set of leaves were dried up.. so i chopped em off, think shell still live??
