Day 21 (too small? What’s going on?)

If it were me I'd be aim for a few more degrees F
A few points less RH
Buckets as close as possible, your on the outer reaches of that light, putting them closer will allow a few inch drop of the light, increasing light overall.

All in this will get them drinking more and increase transpiration and speed up growth above and below ground.

they need more light.
Maybe. 200 watts should be plenty at this point, but my mind went the same direction yesterday. Hung a 315 watt CMH yesterday. Even at 30" it put canopy temps up close to 90 and dropped RH to the 40s. Could possibly have blasted more air into the tent to keep temp down a bit, but then there goes what little RH I could maintain even with the new little humidifier running 24/7. Didn't seem worth it so swapped it back to that shitty old LED fixture after a few hours.

You'll get faster growth if you start in smaller pots........like solo cups.
21 days from sprout.

I usually start autos straight in their final pot and don’t think this delays growth. Here are some from my last grow around day 21 with some lst ( plants on the left in this shot about exactly three weeks from sprout). Planted straight into 5 gallon containers.

I suspect not enough light and perhaps dense soil preventing root growth. They don’t need much water at all when they’re this small, so may have been overwatered a bit too. They look healthy, just slow. Problem is autos are on a clock, so the more you can inspire them the better.

Are you measuring canopy temps with a gun or a thermometer?

The temps I've given so far have been ambient temps. Didn't think to break out the IR gun to measure leaf temps under CMH since I didn't like the ambient conditions. Under the LED, leaf surface temps were 71-74 when I checked a little earlier.

Cool, just sounded like you'd slapped a thermometer at canopy level so wanted to check.

Would adding more soil to the pots be helpful? I did order a new light and it’s on the way! I did see a couple of people mention how low/dense soil is… wondering if I could correct that

Put buckets on risers - allowing drainage without blocking bottom.

Decrease RH - soggy soil will drag growth.
You want to allow some soil dryback - so watering would be spaced out farther.

Nutes are already provided by soil medium and it will carry growth alone for weeks.

Lighting - that lamp even with both switches on isn’t enough to carry 4 plants . One plant directly under may be fine but plants outside of lights footprint will be much less.

Since they are autos - it is extremely important to get as much growth in its short veg stage before it transitions to bloom otherwise yield will be impacted.
