Day 25 flowering first grow

Because one needs to study electronics before growing weed??? Lol. ...its his first freaking grow.
Not just electronic when you started any hobby you need to learn it’s basics nobody here is a plant biologist or scientist but we try to our best and yes when you decide to grow marijuana you must learn what is the photosynthesis how it is occurred how effects it is not gets you a scientist and when you want to learn about wattage, par or lumen you’re not be an engineer its just your hobby and if you want to do your best you must search and read lots of thing then compare different parts and have your own idea not just copy paste .. sure if you want to do your best so if you don’t .. lets be it. Hapy puff puff days

I love hps, because it gives me a great yield..The only time I dislike it is during the summer and I need to run an aircon. Looking good man just going to suggest not to defoliate anymore and let her focus on flowering, even though that's probably your intentions anyway , I'm just past week 6 myself so you should see em start swelling soon:)

Thanks for the response, and damn that looks pretty. Is a 250 hps plus the 136 watt led full spectrum light enough to get me to where i want to be? My tent is 4'x2'x5' by the way. My ultimate goal is a half lb between grows so that I dont have to ever go anywhere else for it again.

So not sure what happened but some how my timer got messed with and about 12am last night my lights kicked on for almost an hour. I am scared of the outcome. I unplugged it have the timer set back to what it was and I am leaving the lights unplugged until 1 pm to make sure they get their 12 hours darkness. Then I will plug back in and go back to normal schedule. So it will just get less light today. Will this be a problem?!

No problem for more darkness when flowering don’t worry

That's 386 W in total, expect about half a gram per watt.. would be the norm unless you get lucky or really know your stuff.

Don't stress about the slip up on the light, she'll be right ,but do check the plant in afew days for any signs of nanners just incase.

Ok so not quite a half lb. On average. I can live with that for now. Hopefully next grow I can take clones and spead up the process so that will be plenty between harvests then.

Ok so another stupid question. If the lights did upset the plant and worse case scenario, it hermed on me. The seeds would then all be feminized correct?

I'm pretty sure stressed female plant has to self pollinate for the seeds to be feminized.

Yes. But they would be the result of a plant that is easily hermied and would have a good chance of carrying that trait.

I'd skip the 250w hps and get some qb's, hlg from their site or Kingbright/meijiu from alibaba. Hps is gonna bring in a lot of heat and will cut down on max flower height. Even the qb120's would do fine in a 5ft tall tent but the 288s would be better. Either way don't skimp on your light or you're gonna be spending more money later upgrading it again when you could've spent the right amount now and be done with it.

Other than that, good job so far ^^

I understand what you are saying, but easier said than done. Have a lot of expenses coming up. And hps is the best that I can afford at the moment. I just have to except that I will be buying.more down the road, and that is ok. We are talking 2-300 vs $70. As far as heat. Being winter and I have my tent in a corner next to a window that gets very cold, I could actually use the extra heat, heat is not an issue. Also I plan on Scroging my next grow, so will only be using about 3 ft of grow height anyway.

for sure, I'd say just make sure you have a way to cool the bulb itself, separate fan or inline if it comes with a hood and whatnot, should be good. For reference tho, can pickup some meijiu 260w kits(two qb288 panels with driver and heatsink) from alibaba for like ~$100-125, but shipping is like $45 :/

That's great to know! I haven't seen them that cheap anywhere!

Never a stupid question when it comes to gaining knowledge, you want the Hermie to pollinate the best pure 100% female you got,,but not really seed's she created on herself...

That actually makes perfect since. To (weed) out the hermy genetics. in other news, I temporary set my timer to be me back on at 1pm so that it still got 12 hours of solid darkness. Just got home and peeked on it. She actually looks better than she did last night and a few spots the buds have really started to fill in. 20191127_131650.jpg20191127_131650.jpg20191127_131558.jpg20191127_131629.jpg20191127_131509.jpg

I agree, and I will tell you, that for the past three months, I have spent all my free time reading and accumulating knowledge. I am comfortable enough with my knowledge, what I am lacking is the hands on experience. That is where everyone in here comes in.
