Day 28 of Flowering - Am I on Track?

This plant is on Day 28 of Flowering, Day 18 from when hairs first appeared. How does the progress look to you? I'm thinking something ain't right, but not sure. Using 234w of cfl's...over 2 plants (second turned out to be female too). Was only planning on one under the lights, but, can't purposly kill a lady. :) Trichs seem to be coming in good though. If you need better pics of anything, let me know. Thanks!

I think it looks good. Might be a slow maturing strain but you're only 10 days into bud production. You'll start noticing bigger changes next week.

how's it going whynot? I don't really remember any direct pictures of your light set-up so i can not say if it could be the arrangement. To me your buds look underdeveloped for 28 days. The canopy is wonderful, just to me the buds should be twice the size at least. Could be the strain... late bloomer, hopefully.

This plant of mine is at day 30 of flowering, bout half way.


I have 182 more watts than you. I also have four plants soaking up all that light so I don't really think it is the extra wattage. It is not the style of grow either, my lst'd bag seed plants are doing ok.


Not to sure what is up yo, can ya get a few more pics of your grow area. Maybe from odd angles to see how the lights are, a pic of how the grow is constantly. Might see some saturation problems... never know.

Here's some pics of the area and lighting along with a bonus 'stick paint drawing' of the light layout. lol This plant would fit nicer if it were alone, but wasn't expecting both to be female. The 2nd plant there vegged for 2 weeks then to 12/12 and showed hairs 12 days after the first plant, which vegged much longer. But being my first grow, just getting her to finish will be a success, yeild not important. A 'J' and i'd be really happy! lol Good experience either way.

drherbalist, What are you seeing that makes you think it might be a hermie? I have seen no nuts on her anywhere, nor 'naner' type growth. I'm pretty sure she's all lady. :)

I wouldn't worry about it man, just give it some time. It looks on track to me for being 2 weeks into bud production. If it looks the same next week then you might start worrying.

I forgot to add the info here, but if you checked out the thread I linked to, six days after the hairs showed, the lights did smash the plant and split the main stem a little. I tied it back together the best I could, so that could explain the slow development I suppose.

Dr, it's just the angle of a small leaf. Being on the lookout is a good thing, appreciate that. I've sat there and stared at them for hours now, looking, checking, just makin sure. lol This whole process is so captivating and exciting. Been token for about 20yrs now, first grow. Heck, never even seen a live plant until a few years ago.

That's not a hermie dude.. with the plant being that deep into flowering I think you would definitely see male pollen sacks clearly.

I see no signs of hermie neither.

I think it is just cramped, not much light gettin past the canopy. At least it looks like that to me. Ya did say ya only intended one lady. I think it would of been farther along in bud production if it was not so cramped. Good experience though, since yield for ya is not a concern for this grow. I think your set-up would work great for a single plant or a few LST'd ones.:weed:

Definately cramped, not diggin' the 18" front to back of my cab. Need to figure out something better for next time to give me better space. Who knew? lol But, there looking a little bigger from the other day. They got some nutes yesterday, lookin' like they enjoyed it. I'll update in a few days with pics.

LOL....I laugh about the staring at them for hours...because I've been there many many times before lol. Its actually quite therapeutic after a good bowl.

Thanks man! I have 9 of the 26w. 8 are the 2700k and 1 6500k, because I had an extra socket. :weed:

HARVEST DAY

I harvested today on day 54 of 12/12. I went by the trichs on the buds and the results of a couple test nugs. Trichs were mostly cloudy with some clear. Got a really nice heady high (which is what i'm going for). Defineatly better than the bag it came from. I remember I wasn't very happy with it, and it had roughly 20 seeds in it. Don't know why I kept them, but glad I did. I was 2 for 2 females, but second plant gave her life for her sisters well being. (too crowded)

Gotta do a little more trimming but had to give my fingers a break, and this is only one plant. I couldn't imagine more. lol I'll get some better bud pics in a little while, but here it is hanging. :)

Thanks man, it feels good! I don't have a scale so don't know the weight. Might pick one up though, think there pretty cheap. I really don't think it's going to be all that much, maybe a Q? But I really have no idea. I will try and get a dry weight.
