They will double or triple in size after the lights are turned back to 12/12, depending on the strain and the phenotype. A lot of Sativa strains will grow even more than this and can be put into flower when very small.

looking good, pic 16 i can see alot of burn tho almost every leaf looks like burnt tips
A lot of the leaves got burnt pretty good, I had a spider mite infestation and used an all natural Mineral oil to kill them. Only problem was I put them back under the lights still wet with the oil and some of the leaves got cooked, doesn't seem to have phased them at all though.

They have been in 12/12 for 36 days now, and have stopped growing. All energy is now in bud production.

need hps for flower mh wrong light spec just saying
You don't need HPS for flower, and that's why I'm using a MH. I used a HPS on my last grow for flowering and now I'm trying a MH and there is honestly not a lot of difference. The colas are forming nicely, and the bud sites are forming tightly together. The buds are not light and airy, they are starting to get nice and firm. And there is way more resin at this point than there was on my last grow with HPS. But only the end product will tell if there is any difference between HPS and MH, I figured it's better to experiment and find out the results myself rather than just trust everything you read on the internet as gospel.

A MH light will work, but NOT AS GOOD as a HPS bulb. And that my friend is not any internet mumbo jumbo, that is a fact you can find anywhere, and any Novice grower should even know that. Like I said obviously it will work, But why waste your time with something that isnt as good?

you can rock what ever bulb. Its about spectrum and par. Hps lacks alot of deep red and UV that plants need. Mh has less yellow and green than hps . Anything higher than 20% intensity of yellow and green is wasted light and not absorbed by plants and lowers par.
Most mh have higher par than hps. But do lack in deep red 660nm like hps. Now that's fact . High Kelvin rated mh do produce more heat than hps though.

here is a study from oxford experimental botany department.

dusty keep up the good work. They look good. Don't listen to haters that don't know what they are talking about.

next run check out Philips all start cmh and Philips elite agro and gavita hps

I was rocking all start 330's and getting better results than 600 watt hps. Until they were stolen last month including plants and many other things

also with mh maybe supplement with some deep red or warm white leds. Cree globes from home depot work pretty well and are cheap and have a 10 year warranty. Also zoo med flora suns t5 bulbs are full spectrum and have deep red and uva and uvb like cmh

I've also been curious about solis tek 4k mh for flower too.

happy growing

So you sprayed the plants and put them back under the light and you think this is why only the tips of all the leaves are burnt? Not sure why you say any input is appreciated when you come off as believing you already know everything.

Not sure how I missed this condescending post. No, I never said that the spray caused the tips to burn, I said it cooked some of the leaves...cooked, as in the whole leaf or most of it turned black and crispy like it was cooked in an oven after they were covered in oil. I know what I'm talking about when I say something is cooked, as far as the tips of the leaves go...I have no fucking idea why they got burned, nute burn??? This was only my second grow ever and I was looking for input, so in the future please read carefully, and don't jump to conclusions.
