Day 4-5 - We've got LIFT OFF!

I am almost embarrassed to post pictures of my tiny plants after seeing some of the amazing grows you guys are having! But, I'm a total noob, this is my first grow and I finally have plants and dammit, I'm proud of them. :) Four plants (mix of Sativa - Green Crack, and a Sativa/ Indica hybrid - OG Kush). Their names are Chloe, Phoebe, Penelope, and Maria.

Quick background...

GERMINATION: 70% success rate in going from seed to plant. 6 seeds in glass of distilled water for 24 hours until they ALL sank. Then I placed all of them in moist paper towel in a zip lock baggie filled with air. I placed it on top of my computer router so it would stay warm. Within 48 hours, 4 of the 6 seeds had little roots!! The other two seeds are still in the baggie (been 4 days now) and no roots.. I think they might be goners.

PLANTING: I put the 4 successfully germinated seeds in separate 1 qt containers that have an Ocean Forest + Perlite mix (75/ 25 mix), about 1 cm down and covered them up and placed them in my grow box.

GROW BOX: I built my box from scratch and it's nearly 100% fully automated with a computer controller. 4' tall, 3' wide, 2' deep. I'm running eight 24 watt and two 46 watt 6700k spectrum CFLs on an 18/6 cycle, then I'll switch to 2400k spectrum when it's time for the flowering cycle. "Day time" temperature is set to 80 degrees and "night time" temperature is set to 65-70 degrees. Air intake (120mm fan) and air discard (120mm fan) are running all the time when the lights are on and every 2 hours at "night". Then two 140mm fans move air around in the box intermittently for 20-30 minutes every other hour 24/7. Each of the four pots has a soil sensor. If the dirt gets below the moist threshold, the computer opens up a 12v solenoid valve that will drip water into the thirst pots until the soil sensor says stop. Air temperature is controlled by either pumping in hot air (small ceramic heater) or cool air -- depending on time of day and temperature differentials between in- and out of the box. Box stats (temp, light %, soil moisture, humidity) are automatically being written to a google docs spreadsheet every 30 minutes around the clock. Then once a day the box will send me an overview report with averages of all sensors for day vs night!

Now just can't wait for my plants to get bigger!! I'm only on day 5. Looking forward to day 60-70!!!!!! I couldn't have got this started with all of the awesome information I found on these forums, so thanks to everyone.
