Day 44 - flipping to 12/12 schedule

You must be 3-4 weeks in flower (12/12 )
second screen looks great but I don't think the buds will reach the screen.
I think you are right. There is one in the back that is JUST BARELY hitting the screen. I am at the start of week 3. It's adjustable so I can lower it but I wanted to wait until stretch ended to see if I needed it or not. The last grow, I didn't top anything and the place was falling all over itself by the time I chopped everything down

your canopy look spot on and I would be surprised if the shoots grow more than 6"
but the canopy level and full, keep them healthy and your going to pull loads of top quality bud.

Your plants look amazing and you have trained them really well, I would consider thinning the canopy out and removing some of the fan leaves because this plants are going to stretch loads over the next 3 weeks and you could run out of space.
my tent is 2.15m high so I assume I’ll be ok, but then again don’t want them crazy big!

Did some defoliation today and removed a few fan leaves.. but can’t deny, every time I removed one my heart ached!

The Power Africa (furthest away), I can now see some light penetrating to the clay balls.. the northern lights x skunk is a bushier plant and not much light penetrating to the bottom.

Question is: how many can I remove at a time? Too much, will the plant stress? I took out about 15 leaves. Half pretty much on each plant.

Left plant is PAF.

Also what’s your usual E.C during the 1st week of flowering stage?

Some strains are picky, but I've never had any issues defoliating even after buds have started to form and I've grown at least 30 different strains over the last 5 years. My last batch I defoliated and lollipopped after buds were showing and didn't have any stress issues. These plants are way more resilient than people give them credit for.

Thanks mate! Yes, they’re actually hardy bastards, but we all love them a bit too much I think!:bigjoint:
