Day 6 these look ok?

Hello 1st ever grow just wanna make sure I'm on the right track. Not sure if they are stretching or not 14" under 1000w mh at 50%

Day 6? Mine were 5X that size. Just sayin'.

When did the leaves finally poke out (estimated day)? Just curious on timing vs starter plugs. Right now I am 48hrs in on rockwool but nothing yet.

They look great. Not stretchy. Doing just fine. Just don't over water and don't put a humidity dome on them like I've seen a hundred times. Some root stimulator is always good to add, but not necessary.

Did you sprout them before you put them in the plugs? I'd say it's on average between 3-6 days. 2 days if you're lucky.

Day 3 but I put them in a shot glass for 12 hrs then had them do deep had to uncover them a little they we up the next day I used mg seed starter and perilite

Thanks for the help. When I got home today it sprouted, total time was around 69 hours. It was hard not to water, I'm sure you have had the itch as well. Good luck with your grow!

That light is severe overkill for those little plants. At this stage of life I would have those under some T5's or CFL's, not 1000w MH. Even dimmed to 50%, you're wasting electricity and bulb life.
