Dead cotyledon tips?

The tips of all 3 of my seedlings cotyledon leaves, the largest one seems to have recovered from the discoloration, seem to have died of. These area where covered by the seed casing also. Is this normal? It did happen to all 3 so not sure whats up with this.

Sorry for the dark pic and the lousy pic, couldn't get a good picture for some reason.

My cotyledons were weird and very yellow at the tips also, some grew out of it some didn't but they all survived

Poor growing medium or just too much nute's in it!!jack

The medium is peat briquett things that expand with water. Should be no nutes in it. The tray also uses a mat to wick water to the medium.

It is not nutes....some seeds just grow like that.

Looks like they could be too damp?

Some varieties do stay more yellow than most but you seemed to think it was an issue figured you knew the strain......

I thought it this to maybe. Gonna try taking them off the mat so the medium can dry out then will water.
