Dead Leaves in Flowering

I am not looking for advice quite yet since my grows are turning out satisfactory.
I am interested in knowing the degree to which leaves die off in flowering is some other's grows.
I do get quite a few dead leaves, especially in the last 2 to 3 weeks before harvest.
Has anyone gained anything from trying to prevent leaves from dying?

My first inclination is to do nothing unless I am sure I won't be doing more harm than good.

I’ve got the same problem. My ph pen was out tho so hopefully it fixes.
I had a PH issue last fall and started adding some peat moss to my soil. That seems to keep the PH at around 6.5. You see, I am not sure how much a problem dead leaves during flowering actually is. The last harvest I had turned out to be one of the better ones and there were lots of dead leaves towards the end.

Pictures bro. You said in the last two weeks before harvest? If this is the case, it’s probably the natural die off from the flowering process. Even if you don’t flush, the yellowing and die off happens.

Thanks. As odd as it might seem I don't have a way to take pictures right now. Your comment is helpful because that is the way it appears to me. "Natural die" is the key. I am curious as to what others consider natural die. I am basically satisfied with yield and quantity. I am always slow to make changes because it can take as long as 4 months to determine the difference and then the difference may no be good.

Wouldn’t that depend upon whether a grower likes all milky or mostly amber trichomes?
Trichs are not leaves and two independant structures that work of different processes. If you want amber you need to wait until you start seeing trichs turn and then wait for the point you see enough to determine its in the very very last stages.

Trichs are more complicated that most new growers have the knowledge for, you need to do a few grows and watch their cycle to even start knowing what they are doing. Its a skill you learn, coming on here asking is what ratio or showing trichs dosent really mean much to me -do a few grows and you will know easy enough.

Also trichs will be ready when the plant looks ready - dont even need to overcomplicate easy things like just harvesting and smokeing so you can adjust the next grow.

Kiss :-)

All I am looking for are experiences average growers have. What I need to know is on average, how many leaves die during flowering? If that question cannot be answered, I am good with that but that is what I am trying to determine.
