Dead leaves under canopy, looking fine from the top....underfed?

More likely just not getting enough light and air flow. And lower leaves will yellow and drop if old or not contributing. Normal. I would do some defol and allow the growth to come some room.

The dead leaves don’t show any fade. Don’t feed yet. Suggest a foliar spray of magnesium. Avoid cal mag because leaves are plenty green from lots of nitrogen.

I actually hard core defol if not full on lollipop by week 3. And remove very small numbers of leaves until week 5. Then it is hands of unless a single leaf or two as needed. My way. And suggestion is all. I deal with humidity and high mold spore count in the air. LOL.
