Dead Roots.

Alright, ive had 4 grow cycles nothing to great, yet. i was using Miracle Grow Potting Soil for the first 3 grows. then i Switched to Ocean Forest. ordered some new Seeds (White Widow). I put them in a wet paper towel to start the rootlet ended up with 13 out of 20 sprouting. Put them into my new bag of Ocean Forest. I kept the soil damp i dont think i was over watering. it wasnt mud or anything like that. There were a few times the soil was dry but never more than two or three days without watering. Not one seed took root all of my rootlets shrivled turned black and died. IM not sure what happened to my plants. Ive got 400 Watts CFL in a 3x3x2 cabinet , with a desk top fan. Lights were on 24/7. What do you think? Damping off Maybe?

when i start my seeds and i know some will agree i just put them right in plugs or pucks or plain old soil with no nutes.seeds and very small clones die quick if you add too many nutes .maybe it was somthing in the soil .
