If you put a KDF 85 prefilter in the RO unit it will remove all the chloramine for sure.

I've been using 1.5ml/gal House and Garden Reverse Osmosis pH Stabilzer to add a slight buffer of around 0.1 EC back to the RO water. That way the pH doesn't drop to 4 when I add nutes.

I think I owe you a great big thank you for potentially solving my mysterious pH fluctuation issues.
Who would have thought I'd find the answer for it here in a random thread about debit card payments.
Only one thing left to do now, try it, and see if it works.

You're welcome, I hope it works for you! I think it says to use 1ml/liter (3.8ml/gal) on the bottle. I've tried 2ml, 2.5ml, 3ml, but never 3.8ml. I think 1.5ml/gal is enough, after adding nutes it often comes out to 6.2 pH then drifts up a bit. I'm still getting a pH crash after half a week or so, but nowhere near as much of a dip as when not using the buffer. I think it's a good product. Currently all that's in my reservoir is that, Jack's RO, and Tribus Bloom.

I’ll have to read up on using an Ro filter. I’ve never used one and I grow in soil using only dry amendments. Thanks for the tip

You might not need it, it depends. If your water has a high EC than you might want to try one. That's why I use it, the water here has a lot of calcium or limescale or something, it messes with my indoor plants. For outdoor organic soil runs I don't bother with the filter, though.

I only have a ppm meter, no EC Meter.

So do you think I could buy a kdf85 filter from Home Depot? I could install a separate water line feed near my work station just for the 85 filter. Wound I still need an RO filter?

Not sure about Home Depot, but you can buy KDF 85 cartridges separately. If you don't need the RO filtration you could just get something like a Hydrologic Small Boy or Tall Boy and put a KDF 85 in it for extra filtration.

Man, before Chloramine came along it literally took about drops of acid to lower the ph now I’m adding approximately 12 ml per 5gals to bring my ph between 6.5-7

If you're sure chloramine is the problem, you shouldn't need an RO filter, just try a 2-cannister filter and replace the stock carbon cartridge with a KDF 85.

Vitamin C neutralizes chloramine, doesn't take much, something like 30 mg per gallon, but I just dump in like 1/8 teaspoon per bucket of water to dechlorinate it, works like a charm! But it won't help your PH issue, can you find a water analysis online for your city? I think every town in America has them online now, if mine does, yours does, trust me!! Anyway, let us know what it says-ph, alkalinity, total hardness, calcium, etc, I'm super curious.

So I ordered my packs from I49 on the 21st. I immediately received an email confirming my order.
I purchased the seeds after applying for an account. When I go to their website and login to my account it shows me an order number but it doesn’t show what I ordered or anything. I haven’t received any other emails except for them soliciting me to buy more seeds. I haven’t received an email telling me that my seed packets are on the way and to me that kind of sucks when you spend $200 I want someone to take the time to tell me what they’re doing

I got the seeds in a timely fashion, once the seeds were actually shipped and apparently had left their facility I received a tracking number and they came to my home quickly this is how they came once I unpackaged them. Can’t wait to pop something new!!

Cali, I'm happy to report back that the House and Garden Reverse Osmosis pH Stabilizer was added to my gardening regime, and is making a big difference.
For the plants that were already in distress it ended up taking 2.5ml/gal to bring them around to the point where it looks like they'll now safely make it all the way through flowering.
For all the other plants to follow, it looks like 2ml/gal is the sweet spot for now, at least.
