IN RED NOT YELLING
I brought up her lack of record because I think it is relevant when discussing her policies and Cortez the politician.

I only mentioned Sanders because he does what I don't want from Cortez. Not that it matters to me all that much because I don't live in Queens.

Doesn't matter how you want to color the text, Sanders is going to run as candidate in the Democratic primary. He'll register to be a Democrat before then.

The Amazon headquarters project that was cancelled was very popular in her district according to opinion polling. We'll see if her working against it affects her political future.

Again why was Amazon given a 3 billion dollar tax break. Does NYC not need tax revenue for her people. 3 billion would sure improve the transportation system. School ? Hospitals ?

Nope you don't live in Queens but you do live in the USA USA USA which will be affected by the green new deal which combats climate change.
does it still not matter to you ?
AOC have enough people doubting her before even giving her a chance, don't you be one too
Impressive CHICK SHE IS

Come on dude. This lady is the real deal. She is actually fighting for the people. rather refreshing.
We hardly know her.

I like her just fine and all that. I like the non-binding New Green Deal resolution that for the first time give a comprehensive look at what it will take to address human caused climate change. I sent a message to my Congressman applauding him for co-sponsoring the resolution. Short of giving her organization money, I don't know what you expect that I should do.

But she's a baby politician. The first chance at releasing something significant was botched. She gets a pass from me because she is new at this. I think she was done in by one faction or another but the fact remains she lost control of the message which an experienced politician should not. Is she going to learn from this or not? Is her career going to be like that again and again or will she learn how to do it right?

Also, regardless of what I think of the Amazon sweetheart deal with NY -- which I hate -- the people in Queens, her district, polled 60% for that headquarters. She made herself the face of opposition to that HQ. Is that going to hurt her in 2020 or not? I simply don't know how good of a politician she is. I'm pulling for her but it's more as an interested bystander pulling for the underdog in a fight.

I have plenty of time to make up my mind too. She represents a district thousands of miles away from me. I'll never get a chance to vote for her unless she runs for national office. Will that be in 6 years when she reaches the constitutional minimum age? If so, I have plenty of time to make up my mind.

I like her just because she triggers the wing nuts.

Lets see what happens over the next year.

She's really a political noob with good intentions at this point, if she survives the first year without any severe negatives, she might be interesting. And she has to win every 2 years.

She could be the future, but that future could be 30 years away too. This country is loaded with dumb people. 35% of them are absolutely deplorable.

Please explain how the government as it is ran now works for the people ? She needs to rock that fucking boat and the PEOPLE need to get behind her. The government ran now are full of fucks who only think about themselves and lining their own freaking pockets with kickbacks and sucking the lobbyist.
Get into the game ??? WTF. How about changing the game. The only reason she will/would not succeed is if people like yourself keep telling her to wait and don't get behind her. Guess what...that is exactly what they want you to do. AOC is trying to look out for the poor and middle class. I'm down with that.
Keep doing what you do AOC and bring attention to this bullshit. and Roger stop getting in the way of positive.
it's all fine to talk change, but it happens the way it happens. you can either have insurrection, and change shit NOW...or you play the fucking game, get good at it, and then change the rules....at this point, i don't care which, but it can't be both....now, should i oil up my guns and check my ammo, or get the fucking dice out?
She understands this...she's getting her name and her intentions out there, making an impression...but she isn't actually achieving much else...now. she's building a base, she's gathering allies...and making enemies...the first term is the make or break term, if she gets re-elected then she can start to make waves and shake things up. if she tries that now, all she'll get is ostracized and ignored

Just don't be one of those who bring her down sayin " wait until...". I like what she is saying for the most part.
and far as polls. I told you long ago polls are controlled by those who make and take them. Please don't bring up a poll when debating with me.

someone who does not yet understand the intricacies they have immersed themselves in, who may understand that you have to forge alliances and learn who your enemies are, but has not yet had time to do so. someone who lacks experience getting support for their projects, who hasn't made any connections yet, who hasn't had time to learn how to read the "undercurrents" and get out of the undertow...she seems to be a strong swimmer, though...you're just asking too much, too soon...it'll never happen that way. you cannot stage a full scale assault against an entrenched enemy, with no allies, and no ammunition. you have to do reconnaissance, you have to cooperate with allies, you have to learn to block enemies. you learn the enemies weaknesses, their vulnerabilities, you find advantages, and exploit them. you fight smart, or you lose....
throwing yourself to the lions in a grand gesture is just that, a grand gesture...the real winner takes the time to learn how to win, before becoming a martyr.

Remember John Elway? The son of a football coach. Raised with a football in his hands. The people of Denver hated him and the Broncos for drafting him. For the first couple of seasons. He walks on water there now. Nobody can hit the ground running and show their potential immediately.

your guns should always be oiled up. So far what she doing has gotten her a seat on the Oversight and Reform committee. Did you see her last committee hearing. Chick was asking the right fucking question and actually showed she is not some dumb broad...or are you just relaying what others say about her ?
