Deficiency and Humidity Problems

Hey guys so I made a box this summer to house my plants and I am running into a lot of problems like I expected.

So first off I have pictures here of a possible deficiency or I think just heat stress.

Also, I have a huge problem with humidity. I have a 4 inch inline fan rated at 171 CFM on a Carbon Filter at 150 CFM but it is not dropping the humidity at all. It is currently 70%-80% RH. Any suggestions? I currently have a Eva Dry Dehumidifier Petite running in the box but I feel it cannot keep up. Should I just use disposable dehumidifiers?

Specs on the box:
size: 5ft X 6ft X 3ft
plant height: 2ft
distance from light: 10 inches
growing in: hydroponics RDWC\

Any tips and help would be great. And as always thank you so much guys.

70% is pretty high. You may want to think about a stronger extraction fan. Maybe 410cfm. That or installing a passive intake at the bottom of the box, get some more circulation going, or even both. 50-60%RH for veg, 30%ish or lower for flower. Ideal temps 78-80F veg, 72-76F during flower.

Yea you are right. I might just need to get a bigger fan sadly, but hopefully that will take care of that. Thank you!

I have this same unit, total waste IMO. It pulled about 1/4 cup a day from my tent, leaving me with 75%+ RH at night. A proper 50 pint dehu now takes a gallon a day out lol, and I never get over 55%. Maybe look on craigslist or classifieds if cash is tight, but for me personally there was no real peace of mind until I got a decent dehumidifier. If you save 1 ounce from mold/PM you will have paid for the machine, that's how I rationalized it ;)

Problem is the box cant fit a huge dehumidifier like the 50 pint but is there anyway if I just bring the outtake fan up to 450 CFM it will cycle the air faster and bring down the RH?

I have the dehu in the room my tent is in, not actually in the tent. The tent intake pulls in dry air and the exhaust pushes the old wet air out. If your ambient RH is ok then maybe more CFM would help, but if the room the tent is in has high RH then you are just sucking in more wet air....
