Are these plants to small for a light defoliating they're clones and I can see the difference in growth daily now but some of the lower branches are being covered by larger fan leaves when I say light I mean just a couple of fans to maximise the light at lower parts of the plant not wanting to strip it right down they've never been touched since potting up and prefer some of the lower parts to catch up with the rest obviouslt the seedling just entering veg won't be taking part in this question pics below please share any thoughts on them good or bad

I would wait and maybe use some less water they look over watered
I water then miss a day and only put 750ml in each pot as there only 5l pots soil is canna terra professional should I wait until completely dry or just wait an extra day before the water cycle and thanks for pointing that out bud I need to know all these little things to watch out for is this why the leaves are looking down and sagging?

Water when the pot is dry. Water until the pot is thoroughly soaked. Water slow, take your time so the entire soil gets wet. Water until you have runoff, more than just a couple drops. Don't water again until the pot is dry.

If you are having trouble judging when the pot is dry and you have an extra identical pot and soil it will help. Take the extra pot and fill it with soil. This empty pot with just soil will be your reference pot. Pick it up and judge it's weight. Don't water the pot with the plant until it feels like the reference pot.

After you water, pick up the watered pot just for an idea of what it weighs wet. There should be a very clear difference between the wet pot and dry pot.

Thank you I don't have any extra pots at the moment but will go grab some today and do this for reference until I get to know what it should take in future thanks to everyone who has helped me appreciate it

Your fine if that’s all your watering. I would just keep my normal routine maybe skip a day here and there if soil still feels saturated

The messed up leaves are because they were clones taking from a flowering plant and I've been led to believe they can or will return to normal after a few weeks of veg but just looked into that myself and it can occur from a genetic mutation or light stress or odd patterns of light time etc

Looks good, you've got the right idea. As they grow out keep tying them to make an even canopy.
Thanks mate will do i'll get there in the end everydays a learning curve  also can I loosen these off and retie in more or less same place in a week or two once they're adjusted to that position as will be going in bigger airpots just waiting on payday and shipping or will I leave the rest until replanted in the bigger pots?
